The View of the canal was amazing. Instead of seeing other beach houses we saw a lovely grove of trees.The house is all on one level which is great for us seniors and the fishing and crabbing was amazing. Vacasa also added to that with a spotless ready to go cottage, plenty of starter supplies and hassle free check in and checkout. Will definitely rent this cottage again. Best vacation ever.

The home is in a good location. We loved the close proximity of the water, it was great for the kayak we rented. The tree house needs some updating. We had no issues with mosquitoes or other bugs. The house has great water pressure. I do wish there was an available cabinet in the kitchen to use as food storage. We ended up leaving everything on the counter. Another suffering would be too update the listing to state linens are provided. We spent $160 to rent sheets and towels and we didn't need to.

This house is amazing! It starts with the ramp access, which is helpful to someone who has trouble with mobility. Everything is just amazing with the dock, the ramp to takeoff on your kayak, and the treehouse, which is fun for kids! We’ve been in this house twice, and I’ve already rented it for next year!

The property was clean and in working order, minor issue with dryer was fixed fast. Great neighborhood for my kids to ride bicycles and us to get a walk in….did a little fishing out back and lots of swinging! We loved this place, we had three adults and two kids but still perfect for 2 to 6 people. Normal weathering/wear and tear outside on ramp, treehouse and dock but fully expected !

My husband and I had a wonderful restful week at this property. I loved the hammock swing on the deck!!! I sat out there and read for hours. We had some rain but snuggled up and watched tv and relaxed. Great week!

We loved this little beach Cottage! Especially the location, the dock and the backyard. You are a mile or so down from the drive on beach access…you do have to pay for a permit, but it is totally worth it! The house is cute, beds were comfortable, good hot water with good pressure in both bathrooms. All appliances worked and the AC was cold and consistent. Great place for a family with younger kids!

This house was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is just as pictured. Enjoyed having a starter kit of dishwasher and laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries and trash bags. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. Loved the outside swing and the beautiful tree. Kids had a great time on the swing and dock. Did not get the chance but would of loved to kayak out into the sound. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was beautiful loved the pier being in the backyard my family spent everyday on it for hours at a time watching crabs and baby fish. The area is perfect away from the crowds but still close enough to enjoy everything Hatteras has to offer we can't say enough good things.

Studio 54 is a home away from home. The Cottage is so welcoming and has everything you could need for a little bit of peace and quiet in this chaotic world....Highly recommend staying at 54....The Dock out back is great for fishing and watching all the Birds. We have never seen so many Pelicans who would visit us every morning..

Spent a lot of time on the wonderful deck that also had a handicap ramp! This made it really easy on my feet and for rolling the suitcases into the house! Very relaxing! Close to Hatteras area and the ferry to Ocracoke!

We enjoyed staying in the house and it was as described. We enjoyed being able to relax and the peace and quiet that comes with staying a neighborhood where most of the homes are residents. The home was well equipped and the backyard was great for the kids. We did have a visitor (neighborhood dog) who ate our snacks out of our beach bag at night. We also enjoyed watching the squirrels in the trees on the property. Overall, it was a very nice trip and the house was well enjoyed.

My father and I absolutely loved our stay here! We normally go with larger groups in larger homes ocean side, but circumstances this year led to us giving this home a try. The back yard is gorgeous with a beautiful old live oak and a great deck for enjoying the calm sounds of the little sound side inlet it sits on. Inside is just as enjoyable. In some ways it has a cozy cabin feel, in other ways the comforts of home. It was very clean and well kept and decorated. Appliances were brand new and all worked perfectly. Furniture and beds were very, very comfortable and enjoyable! For those that still love going to the beach, it’s only a few miles drive down to Frisco for a beach access. Not bad at all! Truly, we did not want to leave. What an awesome experience and home. If you’re thinking about trying something different, rent this home and enjoy.

We met our grown son and his wife for family vacation before they head off on an adventure to California! This cozy relaxing cottage was exactly what our small close family needed! We love your cottage and it’s fun back yard and deck activities!

Studio 54 is by far my favorite home that we have rented on Hatteras Island. The location is very convenient and the community where it is located is very peaceful. View of the water from the deck is so relaxing! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals and the home was super clean. Pride of ownership is incredibly apparent here! This truly felt like a home away from home rather than a vacation rental. Highly recommend!

It was just the wife and I in September. Great place, location was great because of surf fishing, neighbors friendly and helpful. Space would be good for small family or couples getaway. Now for the bad stuff... Don't go into the back yard without bug spray on, the mosquitoes will bleed you. I had to sweep the deck and ramp. There were little acorns that hurt when stepped on bare footed. That's all, not all that bad. Christine was a BIG help in the office. Thank you
