You'll be less than a mile from a plethora of dining options. Relax in the hot tub while enjoying the beautiful sunset. The home features brand new decks on the sound side and a new front entry deck, along with exquisite updates that enhance the charm and comfort of your retreat. The concrete-floored ground level has a spacious parking area and a carport with a sizeable under-house shower. The mid-level waterfront deck is an excellent spot for lounging on the high-end outdoor furniture and keeping a lookout for local wildlife like dolphins and colorful birds. You can soak in the private hot tub in the evenings with unobstructed sunset and moon views. The first living level has a large, inviting Great room with hardwood floors, a wooden accent wall, and brand-new rugs. Relax on the two new Lazy Boy love seats in front of the 65'' Roku LCD TV equipped with a DVD player. This room also features dazzling panoramic views. The modern kitchen has granite counters, a glass-top electric range, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast island, and access to the dining area. As a bonus, there's also a beverage fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The extra-large primary suite boasts a cathedral ceiling, new floors, and a covered waterfront balcony featuring comfy outdoor furniture. Plenty of great restaurants are less than a mile from the home. Beach Access Ramp 43 is eight-and-a-half miles east with plenty of space to find seashells, fish, and enjoy long, leisurely walks along the shoreline. Watersport and nature lovers will find a private paradise at Cardinal Point, perfect for anglers, kiteboarders, and windsurfers alike. Streaming is available using your own accounts. Guests must sign an additional lease agreement upon booking. Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, which is typically open from Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

I have been coming to OBX every year for the past 20 years. I have stayed at quite a few homes - yet this is the 4th time I have stayed at Cardinal Point - so yes, I do like the home. The location - on the sound with a great view of the marsh and with its own beach area and boat ramp is perfect for me. Stunning sunsets and if you like bird watching and kayaking, this is the place to stay. Takes about 3 minutes to drive to the nearest beach access - with restrooms and showers. From the home it takes 5 minutes to drive into Buxton or to Hatteras. You have to try an Apple Ugly from the Orange Blossom in Buxton The home is quite well maintained including many upgrades since my stay here two years ago. The upstairs primary bedroom is absolutely lovely with your private view of the sound. The two bedrooms downstairs are comfortable and convenient to the living room and kitchen. Several of the neighbors live here year round, so if you have questions the friendly folks will be most helpful to oblige. My one issue - is that while each bedroom and the family room have tvs and dvd players - none are blu-ray. That’s it - nice home, good value, superb location. I will be back again.

We love this home and book it at least once a year. Quiet, clean, ourdoor hot tub to soak and watch the stars, gourmet kitchen. You name it. Love Cardinal Point.

This was our 3rd time here at Cardinal Point, and we will absolutely be back again! From the first time here, it has felt like home. The property is phenomenal, and has everything we need. The house was immaculate, and there has been numerous updates since our first visit in 2021. For us the yard is the star. The salt marsh is absolutely beautiful, and teeming with wildlife. Having direct sound access is huge for us, as we are avid paddle boarders. It’s so beautifully natural, and again, teeming with wildlife. There are multiple, pristine beaches on the Atlantic within a 10 minute drive, as well as some of the best seafood we’ve ever had. All in all, we couldn’t be more happy with the property, and very much look forward to returning.

This house was such an amazing get away. Would definitely stay here again. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and enjoy the birds and the kite surfers. The sunsets were fantastic. We took the kayaks out almost every day except when it was too windy and a highlight was absolutely the rays in the bay. I saw close to 15 throughout the week and they were so much fun to kayak around. We drove onto the beach and went to Ocracoke for the day. Kids went parasailing in Hatteras. The location was perfect to be able to just relax at the house - with 2 teenagers and a preteen it was a great getaway before our oldest leaves for college. There was space to spread out and there was space to be together and to be together and separate. :) it was a very comfortable house with all of the things you could think to need. Thanks for sharing your house! It was a lovely exhale.

Beautiful location, my grandkids can play out by the sound when we arent at the beach. I love the porch swing. Will definitely be back again!

I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in this area and this house is near the top with what it has to offer. The views of the sound and the sunsets are incredible. It is probably the most well stocked home I have stayed in. It has a drip coffee pot as well as a Keurig. It has a ninja blender The deck furniture is outstanding. There is a swing overlooking the sound pretty much everything in the house has recently been updated. The owner has kayaks, boogie boards, beach, chairs, etc. for you to use. This house is about a half mile from ramp 49. The bedroom upstairs is great for a family with one child as there is a king and a twin.. Super large bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the sound. I Would definitely rent this house again. Would definitely rent this house again
