Description

Sunshine is a 4,600-square-foot home, custom-designed for the ultimate sound front vacation experience. Drive through the tall pines and live oaks of Indiantown Shores into the secluded cul-de-sac at the end of Live Oak Lane to arrive at Sunshine. The Pamlico Sound is just feet away, offering great wind sports, kayaking, fishing, clamming, and crabbing. This home caters to folks who are looking to hang out together while exploring the beach, the sound, the neighborhood, and all the adventure this special island has to offer.
The first floor of this two-level home showcases an expansive game room where the whole crew can play pool, Ping-Pong, foosball, or shuffleboard, or step onto the deck and jump into the seven-person hydrotherapy hot tub. The bonus den has a home theater, surround sound, games, and puzzles. On top of that, there is also a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, a washer/dryer, and a full bath.
The first-floor bedroom wing has 3 bedrooms (king; queen with set of bunk beds; two twin beds) with 9-foot ceilings. Two of them have private baths and the primary bedroom has direct access to the deck.
On the second level, you will be awestruck by the view of Pamlico Sound through the 22-foot floor-to-ceiling windows. The expansive great room boasts plenty of space for the whole family to hang out while admiring the gorgeous sound view, playing games, or watching something on the large TV. The group chef will love the well-equipped kitchen which is adorned with a six-burner Viking gas stove, a double oven, two dishwashers, and a large pantry. Sit at the center island with a breakfast bar to socialize, eat, prep, or simply keep the cook company. The dining area can comfortably seat your whole crew.
The bedroom wing on this floor also has 3 bedrooms, each with a private bath. One has a king bed with direct access to the deck and another has a queen bed plus a set of bunk beds. The fun kids' room features two sets of bunk beds and a loft area with bean bags and a TV for watching their favorite movies.
Outside Sunshine, you'll find a large under-house carport, two outdoor showers, a fish-cleaning table, 4 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, lifejackets, and a half-bath.

THINGS TO KNOW
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details about this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open from mid-May to mid-October, depending on the weather.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Great place and the owners are amazing people!

Even though the weather wasn’t the best the weekend we were there, we had an absolute blast at Sunshine! Plenty to do in the house - we thoroughly enjoyed dueling in pool, shuffleboard, and ping pong. We also loved that there were so many different hangout spots. The hot tub was a go-to! Everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable. So nice that every room had its own bathroom. Would definitely visit again!!

We loved just about everything about Sunshine. This place was amazing! Aside from being so beautiful inside, it had everything you could possibly need for a vacation home. The view is just so beautiful especially the sunsets. The week we went was very windy and a little cool, but we made the best of it. Comfy beds, amazing view. So many movies and games!! We also enjoyed the kayaks. And this had to be the best beach house kitchen I’ve even encountered. The knives were actually sharp and that never happens!!

6 burner gas stove is awesome for cooking for a big crowd. Kitchen is well appointed. Had everything we could need. Great location. Great amenities. We’ll be back!

Great for large families plenty of room, endless activities such as pool, shuffle board, ping pong, movies, games, books, kayaks, paddle boards something for everyone. The hot tub was very relaxing and swing on the porch was so comfortable. Loved watching the sunsets on the upper balcony. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for a large group of people and large dining room table to sit and enjoy each other. This is the best beach house I have stayed in in the last eight years and will definitely be back.

Me and my family spent a week at the house. We loved that the kitchen was filled with everything you could possibly need while on vacation, pots, pans, all kinds of utensil etc.. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards nightly to watch the beautiful sunset. And if you don’t like to kayak or paddle board the views from both decks are amazing. We love that there was plenty of seating for the whole family at the dinner table so we could have family dinner together. The game room was awesome the kids spent most night down there playing pool, ping pong and doing puzzles. We loved that there were plenty of dvds, games and puzzles provided to keep the kids busy. I could go on and on with all the things we loved about the home. It’s one of the best homes my sister (who vacations to OBX every year) said she has been to ever in OBX. If/when we visit OBX again, we would definitely rent this home again. Trust me the house does not disappoint.

This house was a great place to stay for the week, and after years of traveling to the Frisco / Hatteras area it may have been the best we've had. The bedroom / bathroom set up was amazing. The house was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed as a group. The view of the sound was fantastic, and the access to the water was a great thing to have! Having access to use the house kayaks / paddleboards was a real benefit and we had a blast using them all week. We loved the house so much that we already booked for next year! Highly recommended as a place to stay!

Great big waterfront property with lots of amenities. The main highlight is the Family room with high ceiling and lots of windows that offer a breathtaking view of the bay. Great view from the deck both at the upper and lower level. Kids loved the game room and movie/reading room. Very close to Frisco beach.

The house was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. The views of the sound from the top floor are amazing. It looks like you are on top of the water. The kids loved all ping pong and pool tables. They also have a ton of board games, puzzles, and movies. If you have a large group and want a place where you can all be together or have lots of room to spread out, definitely book the Sunshine!

Where to start? We had a group of 13 people and there was not a moment that we felt even slightly crowded. The house is so spacious with huge rooms and wide hallways and super tall ceilings. The view of the sound out of the back of the house is breathtaking! We loved having a table that was able to seat all of us to eat and the kitchen is amazing! Better stocked than most regular homes with pans, bowls dishes, glasses, silverware, baking dishes, cutting boards enough to host very large crowds. We loved that on both floors the bedroom wings are separated by french doors so that people can be up and about in the kitchen/great room or in the game room on the first floor while others are sleeping with no problem. The game room on the first floor was a blast! We used it constantly and we also loved the family room down there which gave a second tv watching/hangout area. The hot tub on the deck is amazing! Overlooking the sound and it fits 7 people. Very clean and in great shape! We used it several times per day! We also used the kayaks that were there in the sound and that was so much fun. The neighborhood is great - so quiet and such friendly and helpful neighbors. Very close to anything we needed as far as stores, beaches, etc. Beds are very comfortable. Also loved that there are washer/dryers on both floors. Just a fantastic vacation home overall. Highly recommend!!

This home was fantastic! Beautiful location right on the sound with huge windows and several large porches to enjoy the water. The kitchen was amazing, large and well stocked. Bedrooms were comfortable. Game room was super fun for our whole family. The living and dining rooms were large, comfortable and airy. We loved every minute of our vacation in Frisco.

We fell in love with Sunshine the moment we arrived. It is such a huge house with all the amenities. Loved the shower room, shuffle board table, movie room, kitchen, kayaks, and hot tub. The sunsets over the sound were the best. Kayaking was beautiful. Every morning I would go out on the deck and swing on the porch swing and watch the birds and boats on the sound. I would recommend this house for sure, one of the best.
