I spy a terrific vacation at Spy Dog! Spy Dog is located on a quiet canal, only a short distance from the Pamlico Sound. The sound and sunset views are superb, and there are water vistas from every level. The ground level has concrete parking, garage, carport, grassy yard, and boat dock. The elevator starts at the driveway level. The first living level is the main living level where you are greeted with warm cottage-style decor. The living room with a gas fireplace has ample windows allowing the natural light to flow in and comfy furnishings. The nearby kitchen is every chef's dream offering abundant solid surface counter space, a functional layout, and a breakfast bar with seating for three. The adjacent dining area with seating for eight is open to the kitchen and has access to the deck. A den with a wet bar and a bath completes this level. The second living level has two primary bedrooms and a laundry room with a utility sink. The first bedroom has a king bed and a private bath with a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has a king bed, a single bed, and a private bath. Throughout the home are a total of six TVs for private, or family, movie breaks. At the top of the stairs on the third living level, you will find a quiet loft space with a double sofa bed and access to the deck with a hot tub and spectacular views. Two additional spacious primary bedrooms with queen beds and private baths are also found on this level. From kayaking and crabbing fun in the backyard to taking a break in the large screened porch, you are sure to spy vacation victory at Spy Dog!

Spy Dig 837 is a very spacious and comfortable home. It sits right on a small canal that leads directly to the sound. Each of the bedrooms provides a lot of space, has its own bathroom, as well as large closet spaces. The elevator is very convenient, especially for those who have difficulty with steps. We’ll definitely visit Spy Dog 837 again.

Beautiful home with great location. Hidden gem. Almost afraid to write review for fear of home booking faster in the future. We owe the owners and the cleaning staff kudos for home preparation. Very clean and well appointed. Classic but modern. Close to amenities but remote enough to enjoy the areas quiet and natural setting. Absolutely favorite home to sat on Hatters. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy.

The house was beautifully decorated and spacious. The views were amazing no matter where you were in the house and the ride to the beach was quick. The bath houses and showers were very convenient. Just an incredible area.

We eventually got the system to work. It usually involved shutting down the cable, but some times shutting down the Bose sound system and/or the cable system. Random.

We’ve stayed at Spy Dog many times. Not only is it the perfect vacation home, but it’s in the perfect location to see both the sunrises and the sunsets. You can enjoy viewing, fishing or playing in the bay and can drive on the beach. Spy Dog doesn’t disappoint.

This is a wonderful home. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. The living area is great and the layout is awesome. This was the second year we have stayed at Spy Dog.

We have stayed at Spy Dog approx 6 times. Love the area. The people that live there have been friendly and we love to sit on the screen in porch and enjoy the scenery.

The house is very well equipped with a kitchen that a microwaver or a gourmet would love. The new cook top has touch adjustments for each burner and even has a wifi and Bluetooth function. (We were not brave enough to try those :-) though). The location is superb on a dead end street and the neighbors waved to us.

This home was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the kitchen. We cooked every meal but one for the week. Best equipped kitchen we have had. The family/dining was great for our family. The weather didn’t cooperate for most of the week so we weren’t able to explore around the outside of the house. Our guys did get to fish for a couple of days so that was a plus! We will definitely be back. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
