Location, location, location – this quintessential Cape Hatteras beach house boasts a beachfront berth that simply can't be beat. Grab a cup of coffee and watch the waves roll in each morning from your private, oceanfront deck – sunrises and sunsets are especially spectacular. You can watch the dolphins from the living room and admire incredible ocean views from the private hot tub. When you're ready, head inside and wake up the rest of your group for breakfast. The well-equipped kitchen features all the appliances, gadgets, and counter space you need to whip up everything from quiche to oatmeal. When everyone's ready to head out, it's time for the beach, straight out the path you can see from your deck. And, with such a great location, you can pop back to the house for lunch or naps during the day. Or you can find great fishing steps away from the house. You've also got access to the Club Hatteras pool from mid-May to early September, weather dependent. At the end of a day out, settle into the living room. Stream your favorite shows, take advantage of 40 streaming cable channels. Head outside to your private hot tub. When it's time to turn in, you'll have four bedrooms to choose from. The main suite is upstairs and features a private deck, queen bed, and en suite bathroom. Downstairs you'll find a queen bedroom and another bedroom with two twins. With days at the beach, and nights relaxing on the deck or in the living room, the perfect vacation awaits you at Happiness on the Beach – all that's left to do is book. This home features an elevator! Central AC. You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

This was an absolutely great beachfront rental! It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We were stuck inside a couple of days because of weather and we were perfectly comfortable. I love the way the place is decorated and the elevator made Getting things in and packing up a breeze. I would return here in a minute!

We loved the location and being able to sit on the porch and look out at the ocean. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and recently updated from the look of things. Linens and towels were provided, but bring your own shampoo.

The house is really nice, and is in a great location. If the mattresses could be replaced (too soft/old and do not offer any support), then the house would be top-notch in every respect.

They had everything in the kitchen that we could possibly need. drinking coffee while watching the sunrise on the deck was breathtaking ! The location to the beach was awesome!!!! Walk over one small dune and the beach is right there. Beds were comfy. Loved the outdoor shower which had hot water. The elevator was so convenient. View from the deck was stunning. We caught small mullet and spot surf fishing - enough for 3 meals. Would stay here again. Only negative is that the road leading to the house needs some work.

We were looking for a house on the beach, and this one was a good house and a good location. Because I am not able to go up stairs very easily, the elevator was a huge bonus. We would rent this house again if we intended to spend another week at the beach.

Amazing home! Dual sliding glass doors on the upper level gave the most beautiful view of the beach! The walk to the beach was close and easy. We spent most of our time on the beach fishing and caught so many things. While out there we watched dolphins all day. The home is easy to navigate and laid-out really well. The elevator made unloading and loading groceries and luggage a breeze. The hot tub was a great bonus on the cooler nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, silverware, and has lots of cookware for almost anything you want to cook. There has been lots of thought put into this home to make it very comfortable for guest. After our first day in this home I was already looking at booking our next trip here! We will definitely be back to "Happiness on the Beach".

50th Birthday Celebration Vacation

The view was absolutely amazing from the moment we woke up until we ended each day. Sunrise to Sunset. This is our 3rd trip to Frisco and this was by far the best home that we’ve tried so far! First time that we’ve come off season and it was 60’s-70’s.. gorgeous weather. The beach being so close, waves crashing, fishing basically in our backyard, the hot tub and the comfortable and spacious amenities within the home. We love the OBX and all of the locals every time we visit. Thank you for having us . We will definitely be back to Happiness on the Beach. Vacasa was amazing to us out of towners from Delaware.

The perfect getaway

There wasn’t one thing I would have changed. This house has the absolute best view of the ocean with a close beach access and a very short walk to the beach. Everything you need is within a 5 minute drive- gas station, grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. The house is very cozy and the elevator was very nice to have although there are not that many stairs. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute little home along the beach in Frisco. It's a nice little house with lots of amenities. My father-in-law has mobility issues, and we were able to bring him along to enjoy the beach because of the elevator and an easy walk, without steps, out to the beach. It was critical for his mobility, as he is not able to maneuver steps too well anymore. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our family and their needs. Thanks!

Great location, 2 min walk to ocean. Elevator was a perfect. Just right for 2 couples or family of 6. Locals were most friendly plus the beach was never crowded. Shout out to Harbor House Seafood and Sonnys Resturant. Great shopping at the Farmers Daughter. Guest Services responded quickly to a few minor issues.

Perfect Getaway

This was a perfect little home to enjoy some RnR with our college kids after exams. We watched the dolphins swim by in the mornings and loved daily walks in the beach. Nice break from the icy weather at home. The area was super quiet and we loved the local shopping and restaurants.

Clean and cute house on the beach

Very clean and cute house. Plenty of room for our family of 7 (5+2). Easy beach access with a quiet piece of beach compared to other spots on the coast. We trekked both up to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills (hour plus to see Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge, Wright Bros Memorial) and down to Okracoke (hour long ferry ride is just 10 minutes away). Some good spots to eat not far from the house. We'd definitely consider this house again.

First vacation in Outer Banks

The house was located ocean front in a very quiet neighborhood. The area was not as commercial as other areas on the Outer Banks but there were several options for dining, as well as a really great grocery nearby. The view from the living area and kitchen was amazing and it was only a short walk to the beach. The weather was great the entire week we were there. The best feature of the house is the elevator so anyone with mobility issues does not have to climb stairs and it was great for unpacking and packing the car. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. It is only a short drive to the ferry over to Oracoke or up the coast for some kid friendly activities. It really was a great week. We hated to leave but are already looking forward to next summer Sharon R

Great Beach Experience!

Great Beach cottage, right on the beach. We watched dolphins from the couch, and because the beach runs east to west, you can see sunrises and sunsets over the ocean here. The owners have renovated most of the cottage to include a new kitchen. The elevator made moving things between floors a breeze. Frisco was quaint & quiet with restaurants, but secluded enough that we practically had the beaches to ourselves.
