Nothing negative to say about this home. Excellent location both on the sound and with a super convenient location between Hatteras and Avon you are close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. House was clean and check in went smooth with constant texts from Vacasa on your check in status. We will definitely look at this house again and other Vacasa properties.

This house is in great condition and well kept. It was a perfect spot for us. We had quick access to drive on the Frisco beach or head to Hatteras or Buxton for restaurants and more drive on beaches. Also gave us the ease of catching an early ferry to Ocracoke. Loved the layout of the home with bedrooms on 1st floor and Kitchen, living room on upper floor for wonderful views of the sound. The wrap around deck on upper level plus the decks off the bedrooms were an added pleasure. Beautiful sound sunsets to watch, just a walk to end of the street. Loved that the home was on a quiet cul-de-sac. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Terrific house. Great views on all sides from the decks and lots of comfy areas to either socialize or have privacy.

Location was perfect, on a nice quiet street with a view of the sound. Great spot for our family for surf fishing with easy drives to multiple access points and to the ferry. House very comfortable with lots of seating inside and out. Loved the screen doors so we could listen to the birds and feel the cool breeze. Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfortable. Very Clean and kept nice. Would love to bring our kayaks next time to launch from the house.

Quick access to the sound and wish I brought my Kayaks as well to hit some of the shallower water areas I didn't wanna take my boat into.

Perfect little place on the sound. Super close to beaches. The house is fully stocked in the kitchen. The blinds, bathrooms, and laundry appliances are outdated, but easy to overlook for the price and the views. Everything was functional. The kids had a blast, and we will book this one again!

If your looking for a vacation away from it all with great sunset views on the bay then this is your place. It’s a short drive to the ocean and grocery store. Our kids played on the sandy bay beach everyday, and we had great evenings riding towards the sunset on our rented SUP boards. No matter where you are in this house, the view is spectacular. I would highly recommend!

Being between Buxton and Hatteras, there were good restaurant choices, shopping, beach access, Conner's grocery, and the ferry wasn't far at all. Good house, very comfortable for two families. Great for viewing sunsets. There is a little “beach” down the street that was good for the kids to splash around in. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was a wonderful place to enjoy the water views, huge well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, comfortable and plentiful seating In living room. The kitchen and living area was so inviting with wonderful water views all around that we cooked a lot of our meals instead of eating out as we usually do. We loved being there and want to come back again.
