The place was super clean and very inviting I will for sure stay here again had a problem turning the tv on couldn’t figure it out at all but if that’s the only problem I had then I’m ok with that

This location is great for visits to Hatteras village and particularly the beach with my husband and dog. We are repeat visitors and look forward to returning.

Nice location with easy access to beaches and other things Hatterus offers. Perfect place to relax and watch whales and dolphins off the beach while enjoying your morning coffee. Condo was well equipped.

We have stayed at Durant Station 4 or 5 times now. Obviously, we like it! The beach access, the view, the elevator , are all positive factors. Flip Flop Island was very clean, and available by 4 instead of 5. We will be back.

My 2 teens and I had a blast staying here. The place was great. Very quiet. Dog friendly too! The place was very clean, beach was perfect, and great communication with management. Would rent all over again!

I loved that every condo is oceanfront. Find was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Location was perfect! I would stay there again.

When we arrived, the dishwasher was broken and the couch was broken and dirty like something you would find at the side of the road. When I complained about the dishwasher, vacasa promptly called a repairman who came and fixed it. When I complained about the couch, vacasa contacted the owner who promptly ordered a new couch and had it delivered. Vacasa gave me a $100 dinner voucher for all of my troubles, which I appreciated. Now Flip Flop Island has a working dishwasher and a new couch and sleeper. So we will look forward to renting it again next time.

We loved this condo. It was in the perfect location. A great covered patio to sit and watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee and listen to the waves. It was clean! I’m big on cleanliness and always fear walking into a new place that it isn’t going to be up to my standard and this place did not disappoint me! We would for sure stay here again.

The view from the balcony was great. We were on the second floor, so we could see the beach. We went for long walks on the beach, watched the sun rise over the ocean which was breathtaking. The pool was well maintained, and I really enjoy it.

This one bedroom was large enough for my partner and I to stay in for 2 weeks. We found it clean, fresh smelling, black out curtains in the bedroom, great view of the ocean, hot tub and very clean pool, excellent kitchen that is well stocked with appliances, plenty of parking, walk over the boardwalk to the beach. Was quiet after 10pm. We only heard a little bit of walking in the condo above us the 2nd week but it did not bother us at all. The walls seem very soundproof. You do hear your neighbors on the porches on either side but we found everyone to be happy, mature, respectful vacationers that were happy to engage or not. We most love swimming in the ocean and this is a perfect location for that. I have already booked 2 weeks in July 2024 on the 3rd floor. We may like the 2nd floor better because the porch has a roof. Oh, the full moon rise is awesome from the deck and fabulous sunsets on the "sound/bay side". Things we brought with us that made things easier, large beach towels for the floors, lots of sand and dripping makes it's way in, hangers for the closet, dish towels & blender, extra bed pillows to make sofas & outdoor furniture more comfortable. Connors Grocery store is excellent and only 8 miles north. Has organic products and is well stocked. We appreciate the professionalism of Vacasa communications. Plenty of Luggage carts in the very clean and often empty laundry room with a view.

Great spot right off the beach, rode bikes to bakery, grocery store, and for a seafood dinner all close by. Unit is spacious for a one bedroom condo. No dining area but there is an extra large island with seating for four, kitchen has plenty of room to cook in and all the supplies you will need, living room has one large and one small futon for sitting and sleeping with an amazing view of the ocean and super spacious balcony. Extra seating on balcony is very comfortable and nice.

I’ve always stayed in Avon in a big house on the ocean. This trip was just me and my dog so I needed someplace smaller. The condo is immaculately clean. You hear no noise from the neighbors. The pool is great. Easy beach access. I’m truly surprised and how nice it is.

We spent the first week of May in this one bedroom unit Great size for a week, nicely set up and decorated, kitchen had everything ( even kitchen scissors). The deck looks out on the pool, the dune, the shoreline, ocean and skyline. My partner spent mornings bicycling around the area. People we met, tourists like us and locals, were lovely. We are thankful for a beautiful stay on a still uncrowded ocean beach. Glorious! The screen door screen was torn apart and useless. I contacted Vaccassa but never heard back.

Everything met or exceeded expectations. A great pet friendly place to stay. I would have preferred a little more comfortable chairs in the sitting area rather than two futon type pieces. We would definitely visit and stay there again.

The stay was a great return for me after having been away from the OBX for 10 years and it was a great introduction to the OBX for my bride. Very comfortable and cozy. The drain plugs in the bathroom could have fit better but it was just a small inconvenience.
