Our 5th year the same week in the same condo and everything was great!

We have been staying at this unit, Whale Watcher.l for several years now both in winter and spring time. Everything is always great, bed, bathroom, well equipped kitchen with great pans that don’t stick and and assorted cooking utensils. The sofa is a bit uncomfortable to sit on you sink in, and the screens need attention they stick… maybe alignment and probably track needs cleaning and some lubricant . The unit is always very clean , comfortable beds, varies types of blankets. Fans in each room, kitchen and living room well. Could use a rubber door stopper for front bedroom , the seashell is cute but doesn’t stopped the door from slamming shut when balcony door is open. Lovely stay … looking forward to next year.

This condo has everything you need and it's right on the beach! Down in the road, within walking distance, is Kat's Deli, which has delicious sandwiches!

We had a great stay at this condo. It is in the perfect location…the top floor, overlooking the beautiful ocean. It is a short drive to restaurants. The decor is so cute, great for a beach condo, and the kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t really need much though because we ate out every night. We enjoyed staying here.

We did like the place overall. We would book again at this place. Place was very clean and fortunately we could park by the elevator in a handicap spot all week. Nice laundry room. Pool and hot tub was cleaned every morning. It was very nice and clean! We were on the top floor- for us no roof over balcony was a disappointment. Thank you for allowing us to give a review.

It was very clean and a balcony overlooking the ocean.....what's not to like. Being able to hear the ocean at night while you sleep is awesome. It's very quiet! I didn't hear anyone on either side of me or anyone walking outside.

Two bed room condo A well maintained condo. Kitchen had everything you need. Love the two types of coffee makers. Plenty of room for what my “sister” and I needed. Living room area nice and furniture clean. Only thing I missed from home was a recliner chair! Love the balcony and balcony furniture Wonderful view from the balcony! Bedrooms nice and nice master bathroom. Only request would be master bathroom could use the taller commode. Just a suggestion!!! Thanks for sharing your beach condo with us. This was our 3 year staying in condo 302. Already booked for 2026

Whale Watch is one of my favorite units. I always feel at home and comfortable during my stay. What's not to love? It's comfortable and well stocked and the views are breathtaking!!! I always look forward to coming back.

We loved this unit. It was perfect for a late wi there get away. The beds were comfortable, the condo was well furnished and comfortable sofa and TV. The balcony was perfect for relaxing under the sun , though they only have high bar type chairs. Bring your own lounge chairs. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of blankets and towels. No hairdryer in the unit , though in another unit last year they had one. Overall great stay, no complaints, everything worked as it should. The bathrooms are clean and nice, the shower only has a standard shower head, plenty of warm water to shower though never got hotter. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent ocean views & access, well-stocked kitchen, nicely furnished, and well-maintained. Good layout of 2 bedrooms each with private bath. Fingers crossed that the one elevator is functioning (not a guarantee), especially for load-in and load-out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Whale Watch. This was our fifth time staying at Durant Station. This condo along with the other two have all been wonderful experiences. The views are beautiful and sunsets are breathtaking. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We loved waking up in the morning, and the first thing we saw was the blue ocean waves. We will definitely be back!

This top floor unit has all you need for a week or 2 at the beach. Great views of the ocean, comfortable furniture inside and out. I liked the use of the outside shed area for beach toys and chairs. Will definitely be back!

First time renting a condo. Top floor has beautiful ocean views, closest walk possible to the beach, condo furnishings were amazing and all up to date (no mid-matching of old furniture). King bed was super comfortable to sleep on, wonderful to spend time watching the ocean from the deck and the entire condo was super clean. We'll coming back next year - we loved it.

This was pur first time staying in Hatteras. The location is steps away from the beach and it's so far away enough from typical tourist areas. It was so easy to decompress and just and completely relax. The condo was the perfect size for my family of 4 and it was clean and well maintained. My boys have asked to come back to this same location next year and we plan to.

I love the Whale Watch condo, our 2nd time there. The location, cleanliness, amenities of home, the comfy bed and the gorgeous view makes it one best places to stay. The only thing annoying is the barking dog.

The sunrise from the master bedroom, ocean breezes, pods of dolphins swimming by as you sit sipping your coffee. You can be on the beach in no time at all and in the season enjoy the pool and the hot tub.

Whale Watch is a beautiful condo. One of my favorites, for sure. It's comfortable and clean and kitchen in well stocked. The views from the deck are priceless. We always enjoy our trips to Hatteras. But this stay was extra special. We will definitely be back.

Everything was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our week. Plenty of dishes and pot/pans to cook in the condo. Great pool and beach access. We loved the lockers on the ground floor to keep our beach gear.

We wanted something on the beach and away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more commercial spots on Hatteras Island, and this fit the bill perfectly. We loved being able to walk right out to the less crowded beach and waking up each morning and enjoying a sip of coffee while listening to the ocean is great. We also had fun hunting for ghost crabs. You’re also close to the ferry to Ocracoke which is a great place to spend a day. I will say that dining options are a bit limited and you have a fair drive back to some of the other spots you might want to visit (about 90 min back to Nag’s Head to see Bodie Lighthouse). It was exactly what we wanted but that will depend on your preference. One other comment - the elevator was not working during our stay, which means you’re climbing to the 4th floor. Didn’t bother us at all but it did make packing up the car to head for home. We found the condo perfect and we will definitely try to book here again when we come back to OBX.

We had never been to the OBX and had no clue where to stay and stumbled upon this condo. It was perfect! Loved the location. Beaches were not crowded at all. After doing some research we found plenty of places to have dinner. Condo was super clean, views were amazing. Perfect for our vacation! We will definitely be back :)

Whale watch was clean, easily accessible via car and elevator. The view was awesome. The only thing it needed was an extra set of towels and wash clothes. It was a really nice place.

If you asked if this was Heaven? I would have say close but its Hatteras! We arrived at night from a long drive from New York, so we hit the hay early and woke to the sounds and smells of Beach life on the Outer banks. Our condo had all the essentials and comforts of home! This vacation was just what the doctor ordered!, We got familiar quickly with the area and found a few great dinner spots with great food and ambience. Our greatest memory of this vacation was our niece got engaged on the beach and we were there to witness the moment!. We most definetly will be back next year as we are addicted to the life on the Outer Banks! Jimmy & Janie
