After having this issue with the key pad not accepting the code I was given a week in advance of my stay which I thought was odd, everything went great. The response from the realtor was quick and the new code let us right in. The condo was clean and comfortable. The furniture was in good condition and comfortable.The view from the deck was exactly what we wanted. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful.

My husband and I always enjoy time away in August after our college-aged children head back to college. We had a wonderful time! Great view and location! The condo was clean and perfect for our time away. We loved being able to bring our dogs and the condos and beach were dog friendly. We had some minor issues with the WiFi, but we were able to hotspot with our phones and that worked fine. We highly recommend this property!

This DS condo is definitely one of the best. Wrap around balcony gives a little more privacy. Everything in the condo is absolutely above expectations. Beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen is more than fully equipped. Doggies welcome! I hope to get this one again.

We loved being in an end unit on the third floor. Our dog loved watching from the sound and oceans sides. We loved proximity of the beach with the outdoor wash station near the pool. We liked the outside fish cleaning station too. Furniture and beds comfortable. If we come back next year we hope to get same unit.

Great view, great value for the cost. Shower curtain rod in the small bathroom is loose and hanging down. Need to leave a couple of spare trash bags in the starter kit--none were provided. Fireplaces kept tripping/turning off and the fireplace remote is broken (internal parts missing). Twin beds are longer than the frame. If you sit on the foot of the bed, it tips the entire bed up like a lever. Need to provide more than just 4 bath towels. Should provide 3 towels per maximum occupancy. Vacasa also needs to coordinate better with local staff and maintenance workers. We had a maintenance worker unlock the door and walk in without knocking. No advance notification, just let himself in as my wife was getting out of the shower. Separate maintenance was happened to remove/replace deck boards and we were not notified of scheduled maintenance at booking or prior to check in. It was very loud and disruptive (saws, grinders, hammers, pry bars) and lasted two full days. Booking, check in, check out, and extended night were fine. However, after we extended our stay one more night our access code stopped working. Luckily, we had our phones on us. Had we not, we would not have been able to call and would have been locked out entirely. We contacted guest services multiple times via text and phone --especially after maintenance entered unannounced. Their response? -- "We made a note of it." No apologies, no assurances it won't happen again, no effort to notify anyone that the rental was occupied--just someone with a very heavy non-English accent telling us they will make a note of it. The irony is you can't drive 20 miles down Hwy 12 in OBX without seeing a Vacasa office or maintenance van, so it isn't like Vacasa isn't in the area. We had to eventually talk to a management to get any action from Vacasa. They offer 24/7 support, but it isn't helpful support. The manager was able to refund us $100 dollars for our inconveniences...so that's something. Wifi was reliable, but only works in the living room. Does not extend to either of the bedrooms.

Great location and great balcony views. Great beach access and far enough down the island that space is never a concern. On site pool & tub convenient & never over crowded. Nice chill laid back environment. Close proximity to most necessities. Will definitely come back!

This unit was very clean for a dog friendly rental. My three friends, my standard poodle and I really enjoyed the fabulous view from the large end-unit back deck. Other reviews have mentioned the worn cookware so knowing this in advance I brought my own cookware and did just fine! There were lots of hooks everywhere to hang towels or bathing suits which was great. The location on the third floor can't be beat!

This condo has beautiful views of the ocean and was plenty roomy for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped. We had all the tools we needed to prepare all of our meals in. There is also a pretty good view of the sound from the entryway side and the wrap-around balcony. Hope to stay there again soon!

I looooove the Paradise Penthouse. When my father was traveling with me (recently passed at age 91 years) he had an awesome experience with the ramp to the beach and viewing deck. The elevator was great for him and he was able to enjoy the beach from the viewing deck without having to struggle walking on the beach. Beautiful condo with very easy access to beach and gorgeous ocean front view. There is boardwalk over sand dunes which makes getting to beach so easy. Very nice covered area where everyone kept there chairs etc so didn’t have to carry them up and down stairs. Beautiful view and easy access to beach. Exceptionally well maintained condo with everything needed. Pictures provide realistic illustration. Everyone staying there was very friendly. Is very family oriented and quiet.
