Enjoy your stay in Hatteras Village when you choose Sandalwood Sunrise at the Durant Station Condominiums as your starting point. This cozy and clean two-bedroom condo sits oceanfront on the second level of the Durant complex. Located just off the elevator, Sandalwood Sunrise is a convenient choice for those looking for easy access to and from the beach and beyond. Enter the condo to find the first bedroom to the left featuring two twin beds, a flatscreen TV, and bath access with a tub shower. A second door to the bath leads to the hall servicing the main living area as well. Across the hall is a king primary room with rich furnishings, a large flatscreen TV with DirecTV, and a dual vanity primary bath with a shower/tub condo. Ceiling fans throughout keep the air flowing through this breezy space. Walk down the hall to the main living area, consisting of the kitchen and oceanfront seating area, with a screen door that leads to your own private balcony. The seating area is equipped with a couch and a loveseat, a flatscreen TV with DirecTV, a DVD player, and a Vizio soundbar for enhanced audio performance. The kitchen is fresh and bright with four seats at the breakfast bar, plus updated cabinets as well as tile floors throughout the common spaces. On the oceanfront deck, guests can enjoy lunch and a view at the Adirondack style bistro table with four chairs. Sandalwood Sunrise is an excellent example of the kind of comfort and convenience that Durant Station Condominiums offer. THINGS TO KNOW This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.

We were so pleased with our stay at Durant Station on Hatteras Island. From the ease of checking in to the wonderful location beachfront with beautiful views. The space was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Hatteras condo was great. The condo was very well maintained and very clean. It was a perfect fit for us and our grandchildren. The ocean view was stunning and the pool area was very nice. The elevator made everything easier. We had a lovely time.

Spring Break Getaway
My husband and I had a great spring break getaway!! The condo was just as described in the listing. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the water. The bed was comfortable, the condo was quiet, and we were able to relax and unwind. Being close to restaurants was a plus!!

We were very happy with our stay. We liked the flexible days so that way we could visit another place further up the banks later in the week. The condo itself was very clean upon arrival. Getting into the residence was easy and the added benefit of an elevator and luggage carts made it even easier. That was a huge benefit. Our view was very nice and our stay was very quiet by all neighbors (granted this was during off-season in late April). Hatteras is definitely quieter than other towns further north and this was excellent. The condo is only a 3-5 minute drive to the ferry to Ocracoke and the Graveyard of the Atlantic museum. Although still a bit cold for April, the pool was open and very nice. The walk to the beach was very easy up and over the dunes. My daughter slept well in the room with the twin beds and the master bedroom was good. The mattress was a bit firm for us, but no biggie. Would definitely come back here and will recommend it to family who want a quiet getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay in Hatteras. The condo was comfortable and completely perfect for our getaway. We loved our beautiful ocean views and the close access to the beach. Close to restaurants and the ferry. An amazing stay!

Dolphins!!
Beautiful beach view and easy access to pristine beach. Even though it was March we were pleasantly surprised to be able to see dolphins swimming/feeding up and down the coast most days all throughout the day! Kitchen is well stocked and accommodations were perfect for our family of 3. Just wish the hot tub could have been open and/or access to the clubhouse to play pool. Recommend bringing or buying a kite (we bought a prism from Kitty hawk kites)

Valentines Getaway
Its was great. Just went when it was cold. So alot of places weren't open. So had to end of doing some cooking. Probably a nice area when its warm.

Great place to stay
Right on the ocean with a great pool. Good size for my husband and I and we enjoyed the deck looking out to the ocean so much! We will definitely consider renting this unit again next time!

This was my first house rental on the Outer Banks. Basically I picked this home for several reasons. 1. Oceanfront location and a short walk to the ocean. 2. Hot tub is enclosed on the deck . 3.With a pet (small dog) having the enclosed deck made it more convenient to leave the dog on the deck while away. 4. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed. This rental is conveniently located near the only Food Lion on the island within a few miles.Has keyless entry which is more convenient.
