This was our first time using Hatteras Realty and we weren’t disappointed!! Flying Fish was a perfect condo for the 2 of us!! It was clean and cute!! We loved the ocean view and easy access to everything. Thank you for a great week!! We will be back!!

Great location, perfect rental for 2. Nice pool and hot tub, some amazing restaurants with local seafood. We will definitely rebtal in Durant Station in the future!!

Great location and rental. Loved the 3rd floor view of the ocean from the deck. Only suggestions would be: 1) a list of what the kitchen has other than the appliances and 2) need at least one spare roll of TP in the rental.

Flying Fish was an absolutely wonderful little place for a perfect Hatteras vacation! It was clean and so comfortable. (The foam mattress topper in the closet made the bed extra comfortable and gave us the best sleep we’ve had in a long time!) The best part was the AMAZING view! We will definitely be coming back to Flying Fish!

We stayed for 10 days. 5 of them at Flying Fish and we absolutely loved it. 3rd floor, great views. Very clean had everything we needed! We especially liked the big balcony to hang out and watch the sunrises and have breakfast! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice well maintained 1 bedroom with spectacular views. Would stay here again! Thank u so much for an amazing OBX experience!

The room was clean and comfortable. It is a good space for 2 people. It has a beautiful full ocean view and a terrace to sit on. I really needed to do Zoom meetings, but the Wi-Fi was weak in the room, so I went to the club house, and it was a little stronger there. We were there doing the off season (early April) so it was quiet, relaxing and no crowds. We were in Buxton (Cape Hatteras) area. I recommend getting groceries before you arrive - the kitchen is fully equipped. The shopping and dining in this area is sparse. I look forward to visiting again - next time in early Fall.

I love Durant Station condos. This 1BR, 1 BA unit was perfect for my wife and I. The Durant Station spot location is excellent as is Hatteras Village in general. Working w Vacasa was smooth and flawless.

We were specifically looking for a reasonably priced ocean view apartment for a weeklong vacation. And this one-bedroom Vacasa apartment fit the bill perfectly. The top floor apartment had the best views of the ocean from the back porch while the common front porch afforded beautiful sunset views. The check-in procedure was easy. The apartment was clean and well-appointed with a stocked kitchen and ample linens for the bedroom and bathroom. The community pool being clean and open was another plus point since the website said that they open during the Memorial Day weekend. We also had access to the Community Clubhouse and used the pool table in there on the days when it was too cold to go to the beach. Checkout was quick and easy too. Not having the long laundry list of things to do before checkout, that a lot of other reservations nowadays have, was much appreciated. We would definitely be rebooking this place again in the future.

The view is amazing. Watched dolphins playing right in front of the condo. Saw a sea turtle nest hatch. Great views of the ocean and sound. Home was clean and loved the decorations.

This property was exactly as presented. The view is remarkable. This was a nice winter break for us. Come prepared for a quiet time if you’re visiting in winter. Most restaurants are closed for the season, but we were able to get our needs met nicely with the local grocery store.

We enjoyed out stay at the Flying Fish condo. It was clean and in a good location. It was pretty quiet there and we were able to relax and enjoy the ocean. Everything was in good working order while we were there. We did open the sleeper sofa once to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and that bed was extremely uncomfortable, not a big deal for us but for anyone else wanting to use that as a bed for the night would find it difficult to have a good night. Elevators worked and there were no issues. Laundry room was clean and well maintained. If I could suggest one thing, it would be that someone post a notice that the luggage carts are located in the laundry room on the 1st floor. We were informed by another guest. Up to that point we hadn't found any to use for our luggage.

I have rented Sandy`s Spot several times and this is the first time I`ve rented it post(ish) pandemic. I absolutely love it, and really like all of their upgrades and style choices. I`ve stayed here by myself, and I`ve stayed here with friends and it`s just always the right `spot.` I will stay here again.The views are unbeatable. The layout of the condos makes you feel like you`re in a house because of the privacy. It`s convenient and walkable to so many places. We have used the OBR for many rentals over the years but our favorites have been in Durant Station. This year we were joined by 2 of my sisters & there families; we all had a wonderful time. The outdoor shower is very disappointing. It’s in a bad location and does not drain well. No one used it. Everyone used the hose to rinse the sand off. Better chairs by the pool and on the upstairs sun deck are needed. The rocking chair seems to go back too far scaring everyone. The light weight plastic chairs are not inviting. This property is very well suited to certain types of people or groups, but is not for everyone. Although it is dated it is functional. My wife and I loved staying here and would do so again, but it may not be the best choice for larger families with older children.
