The complex and apartment were both clean. We enjoyed our stay. Loved the pocket doors, with limited square footage, they came in handy! The dunes make it a bit difficult to see the beach and ocean from the first floor so I would recommend higher floors if you want better visibility. Our balcony had a few very soft spots and exposed nails which were concerning-hopefully they repaired quickly after we reported. The pool and hot tub were cleaned and maintained daily. We will gladly return for future visits

This place is perfect! On the beach with a heated pool, hot tub, home fully stocked in the kitchen, balcony with ocean view, so cozy, close to the ferry to ocracoke, the grocery store, orv ramp to spend a day on the beach in our jeep, ice cream shop, restaurants! They have a laundry room for you to use which was great so take some quarters so you dont have to do laundry when you get home! And the price, in July, for an entire week was excellent!!!! Definitely recommend this place for a perfect beach vacation!

This place is perfect! I always stay at a condo in Durant Station because it’s a great location. The elevator and luggage carts make it easily accessible and this pet-friendly condo is perfect.

Durant Station never disappoints. Everything is very well maintained. Have stayed in several units over the years and About Time was excellent. Even on first floor we had a nice view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Unit was clean and ready with no delays. We will be back!

The location (ocean side of rte.12) is great. The unit was well equipped (dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes, toaster, electric can opener). The refrigerator ice maker makes lots of ice which is great! The ocean view is lovely!

The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, bowls and silverware. Some basics like salt, pepper and spices would have been nice but not a deal-breaker. The bedroom is right across from the elevator but it didn't bother us.

The condo was great with an ocean view. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the condo is on a raised first floor so we could see over the dunes to the ocean. We stayed off season (December 18-21) so it was very quiet, no issues with parking or loud neighbors. The unit came with bath towels and sheets. Also in the unit were: 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, 3 packs of laundry soap and 2 garbage bags. The heat in the unit couldn’t be set to anything higher than 71 degrees. The walkways are right outside the bedroom so we could hear people (rarely) walking by. Sitting on the balcony all we could hear were the waves. The unit is directly across from the elevator which is great for moving in and out, but could be noisy if the building is busy. The unit could use some door mats at the front and balcony doors to catch some of the sand. The bedroom needs a second nightstand as well as extra pillowcases for the extra pillows. The unit has a drip coffee maker that works even though the hot plate is very rusty. We did find that coming in the off season made finding open restaurants a little difficult. We did catch the Snack Shop by the Ocracoke Ferry on its last day. The food was fabulous! All the other restaurants in Hatteras Village were closed, so we headed to Frisco and ate at the Tavern on 12. I highly recommend the pimento mac and cheese!

Hatteras and on the beach at Durant Station was wonderful. We were right on the beach with great weather for our stay of one week. Everything was great! Will go back to the Outer Banks sometime soon!

This neat and updated unit (digital door lock and ‘smart’ thermostat) was perfect for my wife and me. Everything worked. Quiet neighbors. Ocean visible off the porch. They do ask you to unload the washed dishes before you leave (it would be better for new occupants to open the dishwasher to be assured they are clean) and some other chores, but worth it for the price and place.

Absolutely a wonderful property! Very easy process to book, all questions were answered and check-in was a breeze. The property has an amazing view of the Atlantic and the sound of the surf was so soothing! This one bedroom was perfect for my husband and me! The kitchen has all you need for cooking and the local restaurants are great when you want to go out for breakfast, a sandwich, or a nice dinner! The balcony was perfect for viewing the ocean over coffee or cocktails, reading and relaxing, or watching the ocean! Haterras is a quiet village that fitted our needs perfectly after 14 months of Covid isolation! We are already planning to return!

We loved the house! It was beautifully decorated, clean and had plenty of kitchenware for those nights we cooked. The beds were comfy and the decks very well furnished. The hot tub was perfect - you could sit in it and look at the ocean! The beach at this house was pretty narrow but we made it work!
