This lovely home features a landscaped yard, ample parking, and a huge, oceanfront private pool with all the furnishings you need, plus a private hot tub. Additionally, you'll also enjoy access to the HOA community pool, bathrooms, and nature trail. This spectacular ground-floor escapade has been recently completed with new flooring, paint, and decor. You can also find a custom wet bar with butcher block counters along with a multicade video game system with over 60 classic video games to play! The first and second bedrooms share a bathroom on the entry-level. The third poolside bedroom features a private bath and its own private entrance to the pool area. The new basement wet bar with butcher block countertops includes a built-in ice maker and refrigerator making it a perfect place to have a family happy hour. The open area also features a pool table, multicade machine, and flat-screen TV for endless hours of fun and excitement. The laundry nook is located midlevel. The recently refreshed fourth bedroom is upstairs and includes a full bathroom. The fifth and sixth bedrooms also have been updated and share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The seventh and eighth bedrooms are both oceanfront rooms with deck access and private en suite baths. Bedroom nine also features an en suite bath. Recent upgrades to the home include a completely remodeled third-floor great room with new flooring, updated furniture, a gas fireplace, and a TV with streaming capability. The kitchen features a two-corner breakfast bar and a large dining area, plus lots of countertop space and a double oven. Outdoors, the huge, south-facing sundeck is furnished and oriented for ocean and pool watching. A new poolside cabana bar with a sink and electric and concrete countertops means even more fun times spent socializing outside. The house was in an excellent area. The house wasn't swept up too good. The top balcony railing over looking the pool is loose. The door in the lower bedroom going to the hot tub will not lock. The rubber around it was not all on. The guests that were there before us did not take the garbage cans to the curb. They also had one garbage can that was broke with a chair in it. We did not take that one up due to it being broke.

My family had a great time. We’ll definitely be back for sure. If I could live there for real I’d definitely stay there forever. We loved to wake up to the ocean off of deck. And home was very clean.

The house was absolutely gorgeous and we had so much room for everyone. Even when we had questions the rental company was so helpful and quick to answer. The only small thing we had happen was the WiFi connection wasn’t the best all through the house. Great location for fishing and relaxing with family and friends.

Great view and property!

Just got home from a Great week! Everyone loved the rental and plenty of room for everyone! We had 1 issue pop up and the owner had it taken care of within a few hours. Thank You! If we head back next year I will be looking to see if it is available again!

Home away from home from June 8-15. Great house, and gets better every year. This was our 5th year in the house. Amenities are excellent. The house meets our needs-not too big; not too small, and good value price-wise. Got to meet owners, who have done a great job with the house since acquiring it.

We have stayed at Down By The Sea multiple times over the years and have plans for many more visits! The size of the house is perfect for our family. The house is great and we enjoyed the updates the new owners have made and look forward to seeing future updates. The location is great and we love the beach access!

I've been sportfishing and vacationing in OBX for over 30 years. This was the best house I've rented to date. Vacasa was able to accommodate an off week schedule and communicated all the details perfectly. Everyone (9 snorers) had their own room which is Priceless. The amenities made the place feel like a resort and had excellent access to the beach. Great job by the homeowner furnishing their home.

Perfect for a family reunion

House was ideal. It had everything you could possibly want or need for a week at the OBX. The facilities were clean and neat, the appliances all worked flawlessly and the elevator was a wonderful addition for some of our older invitees. I would rent again in a heartbeat.

Great retreat

We used this property for a home base for our race team (9 adults). It was a great oceanfront retreat. Everyone had plenty of private space with large, open common areas. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect! Checkout instructions were clear & easy. Would stay here again!

We love this place! The house is big enough for us all to be under one roof (which is perfect for this mom of all grown kids) and still have our own space! The beach is fantastic! I just wish the top deck was a little higher so we could see over the dune in front of the house…. But we love it and are already counting the days until our next visit!

Great family beach house!

We had an amazing time in this house! We were a small group for the giant house but the open kitchen/great room with deck view of the ocean was so perfect. Great service. Walk right to private beach and .25 to every shop. Could not have asked for more!

Great location, great features, great views, accommodations, amenities, management company, cleanliness, updated......................great everything! All 23 of us, kids, their spouses, and all the grandkids, had a ball, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
