Roof top deck overlooking the ocean and skyline was my favorite. Great storage space in and outside of home. Picnic areas, grills and great surf side beach access. Will definitely be planning another stay here!

What can I say about this place? Well we loved it. It was right at the beach. I'm sure we will b back there again. Clean and beautiful views from the top deck. A shower on the walk way to rinse off. I would go back tomorrow but off to work i go. Enjoy it every one

We enjoyed this cabana for a few reasons. The main one is the rooftop deck! Its a great place to get away and relax while watching kite surfers go by. I would recommend this place for couples seeking a romantic getaway.

The rooftop deck is everything! Sit up there to watch for dolphins during the day and stare up at the stars at night. The Cabana is well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

We love the cabanas, and Southern Comfort was an ideal layout. We love the beach access and close proximity to the ferry. We left our truck unlocked accidentally all night, but it’s such a nice neighborhood that it wasn’t even bothered.

The Cabana in Hatteras is perfect for a couple or small family to stay close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and loved the community. Best coffee in the area! The management was super helpful, and answered all our questions quickly. The pool at the club house was very nice and our teens enjoyed too. We loved sitting on the decks especially the top one. If you are looking for a quaint place near the beach this is for you!

There is everything you need here, from measuring cups, a blender, crock pot, coffee maker, rolling pin, etc. on and on. Just unpack and relax. The owner recently weather sealed the deck and added a large storage bin on the main deck for storing things like beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Again, this is my third stay at this cabana, and I love it!

Such an amazing trip! Was very sad online said it was not pet friendly but everywhere around me were dogs. Property even had doggie poo areas. Not sure why it said no pets if pets were allowed. Beach access was awesome. Loved the rooftop !

Our Southern Comfort cabana was perfect! Exactly what we needed for our vacation. Literally seconds from the beach! Questions were answered asap via text, even as we arrived at 3am! We will continue to use Vacasa!

A great little place close to the beach; can’t beat the location! Vacasa was great with communication about our booking, expectations, etc. Considering we were visiting for the beach and sunshine, this little cabana provided for us given the little amount of time spent there, but it could use some attention to detail.

We LOVED our visit! This bungalow is on the small side, which was perfect for 3 of us: enough room to sleep and shower, able to cook/prep food, and out to spend our days at the beach! We've stayed at more tourist-centered portions of beach in previous years, and really wanted something more private, and this was perfect. We weren't alone on the beach, but it wasn't crowded at all! The town has non-chain restaurants and seafood suppliers to choose from. There is plenty to do within a day trip both up and down the coast. The top-deck was beautiful and a wonderful way to enjoy coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. We are definitely planning a return trip!! We had a slight mishap with internet and some sheets, but the local property manager responded immediately and solved the problem.

As a family of three the location was amazing. The beach access and pool were easy walks even for a toddler!

The place was amazing it is bigger than the pictures make it out to be. I wish the stove was updated the stove did have a slight smell when cooking. Overall the place was spotless and in a great location. It was renovated recently and there was great use of space. If you look at the pictures it is not next to a hotel it is next to a condominium which had almost no people so the beach was not crowded. We also liked the smart tv!

The colors and decorations were very nice and the kitchen had everything you would need and more! I was pleasantly surprised that there was a k-cup coffee maker as I was only expecting a regular coffee maker. The only downfall was the bed was a little to firm/hard, but some may prefer a more firm mattress so that is just a personal preference. I loved the walk in shower and the complimentary soaps, kitchen sponge, toilet paper and towels were nice. There was dishwasher soap too, but there wasn’t a dishwasher so I am not sure why that would be supplied. The only suggestion that I think was helpful in other cabanas I stayed in would be to label the light switches since there are quite a few. Overall it is a nice cabana with beautiful views!

This was the second time I stayed at this cabana. I love it. The beach is just over the dune, the community is quiet, everything you might need is close by. Booking and check-in was easy. Not having to keep track of a key is great! 10/10 highly recommend!

My texts prior to checking in seemed to be answered by someone for whom English is a second language, and I'm afraid I didn't really get an understandable response. Next, I emailed Vacasa early on about the leaking toilet. No response whatever. I figured it wasn't worth reporting the constantly dripping faucet in the kitchen, or about the tiny ants we fought all week. Some things in the house need management, and frankly we were trying to help. I love these cabanas, and this one is very nice. I worry that if property management is this unresponsive, then they will go downhill fast. We had an even worse Vacasa experience in a big expensive house in Avon that our family rented the previous week. Vacasa, you really need to do better.

It was the perfect size for my wife and I. We didn't spend alot of time inside as there was much more to do outside, but when we were there, it was exactly what we needed to unwind and prepare for the next day outside.

This property was so clean . We stayed two nights and every time we came back in the home the clean smell never went away . Perfect for our 10 year anniversary get away for just me and my husband. We where also able to get in the property 2 hours early do to it already being ready for us . 10 out 10 would recommend this company and property to anyone !

My husband and I spent a week at this cabana in late Dec.-early Jan. The layout of the cabana cleverly makes the best use of the small space, and it was just the right size for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed the 2 levels of decks, and the good weather allowed us to spend a lot of time outside. The nearby beach access was a plus. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at a different unit 2 years ago and this place is much better. The unit has been updated, well decorated and well maintained. We got clean/relatively new sheets, towels and dinner wares. They even have a Keurig coffee maker. We were very pleased with everything and will definitely look for this unit again next time we're in the area.
