I\We really enjoyed our lazy week in Rodanthe. The house was clean and a wonderful position to beach. This house needs lots of major updates soon. We liked that only had 3 bedrooms and bunk room.

We loved our stay, a truly dog friendly home with breathtaking views. The deck will need some love in the next season or two, a few missing spindles that leave a gap wide enough for small dogs to slip through, but it’s not a huge deal. Overall, we felt comfortable having our kids and dogs here and the view would keep us coming back for more.

This was a great experience all the way around. So many treasured memories were made this week. This is the first rental home we have ever stayed at where everyone said the beds were comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I could not get over the view out the sliding glass doors. Such a beautiful location, and house that feels like home away from home. It was so perfect for a late winter getaway with my dog. Furnished just right for meals, and plenty of furniture to make it cozy. Nice swivel chairs in the living room for viewing g the sunrise! Beds were comfortable, with bedding adequate for all seasons! Easy access to the beach, and just a short trip down the steps for both taking the dog out and a beach day. I can’t rave enough about this quaint home, truly grateful for this property.

The house was clean and had everything we needed . Beautiful views and sunrises. The only issue we had was the charcoal grill needs a little TLC but other than that it was wonderful stay.

Exactly what we expected! Clean, functional, and listen to the waves all night. Great location close to Rodanthe pier. We got some beautiful sunrises. Saw a lot of great surfing. We will be back. My only suggestion for improvement. The outside charcoal Grille needs some TLC but other than that everything was perfect.

We Loved the location - just steps from waters edge; Loved everything on one level; Loved that we could watch live surfers at all times. Excellent sun rise from the comfort of our deck. Excellent hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen, we brought stuff we did not need. Loved the start up supplies - we had plenty of everything.

Upon arrival, we did have issues with the code on the door. Luckily the sliding door was left open and we got in that way after a 10 hr drive. We tried to get in touch with Vacasa but no one answered till the next morning. The house is nothing exciting on the outside, but is spacious and very nice on the inside! The views of the ocean is amazing from the family room and off the deck. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, the walk to the beach is 1 min., the hot tub is nice, and 3 full baths were a plus. We will definitely be back!

Such a great experience .....falling asleep and waking to waves crashing was wonderful. Very comfy house, oceanfront can't beat it!

We loved everything about this place from the hot tub to everything you could possibly need and more for kitchen utensils. The waves crashing was amazing to fall asleep to and the dolphins swimming by daily were a pleasant sight to see. Would definitely return

We've been coming to OBX for quite a while and this house has to be the nicest place We've stayed in so far. We wish we could stay there again, but the new realtor will only allow 2 dogs and we have 3.

Captians Quaters is a pet friendly beautifully decorated in beach theme home right on the ocean front. Amazing views from the hot tub and deck with tall adorondack chairs. This house was right on the beach and it was a walk over the dune right on the beach. The rooms were spacious all decorated beautifully. The hot tub was the best…ocean view while enjoying drinks in the hot tub. High top chairs made the deck a great spot to sit and enjoy views of the ocean. This house was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. They allow dogs in this house and the large deck had gates on either side keeping the dogs on the deck which was great! Would stay here again!

Short walk over a small dune to access the beach. Sitting on the deck listening to the ocean surf was so relaxing.Outdoor shower on the elevated level was wonderful. Would recommend this house to anyone. The decor is stunning with a very well-equipped kitchen and other amenities, like a hot tub and bar area. The bedrooms are very comfortable; the views wonderful. Loved all the windows which made it so open and provided a lot of light. The enclosed garage and elevator just added to the luxury. What a pleasure!
