Beautiful sound-front Soundsational is better than ever. This 2,700-square-foot home has a large waterfront lot that is the perfect launch for kitesurfers, windsurfers, kayakers, and those who simply love the best sunsets on the island. The waterfront is bulkheaded and has an extended pier for easy access to the sound. The ground level has good concrete parking, two carports, and an all-weather entry. The waterfront pool has a large, furnished sundeck, a hot tub, an outside shower, and a bath. The waterfront is bulkheaded and has a small dock for easy water entry for kids and adults. The first level opens with a game room featuring a pool table, a TV, a stereo, a mini kitchen with a sink, a microwave, a fridge, and a full bath. The first bedroom has two bunks and a TV. On level two, the second bedroom has deck access, and it shares a bath with hall access. The third bedroom has a TV. A sound-front bedroom has a TV, deck access, and a full bath. You'll also have a private washer/dryer. The third-level living area has tall ceilings and panoramic views of the ocean and sound. A 60-inch LCD TV, and stereo system anchor the well-furnished living room. Another second sitting area has easy access to the furnished ocean and sound sundecks. The well-designed tile-floored kitchen has a breakfast island and is ready to provide meals for hungry friends at the sound-front dining area. The fifth bedroom is a sound-front room with deck access, plus a full bath. The kids will flip for the upstairs bonus loft with a daybed. Soundsational is absolutely sensational!

We were a day delayed due to the evacuation in August but we were so happy to finally arrive. Loved the beachy feel of this home and the decks were so amazing for sunsets! We had 4 teenagers with us who absolutely loved the hammock on the second floor and the outside shower. The pill bottle lights out back were kind of eh and we didn't really like those. We spent alot of time in the pool and down in the game room, pac man was broken so that was sad but we had fun playing pool and the other arcade. Crabbing/fishing off the dock and walking around in the sound was also such a good time, very relaxing and quiet. Great location, we did alot of walking around to the places close by and really enjoyed riding the jetski's and playing laser tag at the arcade nearby. Such a beautiful town, we didn't want to leave. Can't wait to come back!!!

The views of the sound are amazing with beautiful sunsets and do not sleep on the moon over the sound view, that's pretty spectacular. Loved the pool and hot tub and the access to the sound for fishing or wading. The house could use a bunch of updates and a little better cleaning to make it top notch but overall it was a decent place to stay. We had a pretty good time at OBX despite the minor issues with the house. I'd be back but we tend to roam around to different places.

Very spacious home more room then it looks with more amenities then I can list. I’ve vacationed in this location a few times and never have I had my own private dock included. Hope to revisit soon!

Overall the trip was great!! The view is spectacular!!! We definitely would say some of the things could use a little updating and it didn’t quite look as nice as the pictures made it look. Again the view just makes the whole place worth it in the end. We will still definitely be back no matter what in the future.

House fulfilled all of our needs with 9 family members. Great view and we loved kayaking. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This was our 24th annual OBX trip and we already can’t wait to come back!!

There was plenty of room to spread out in this house and the kitchen was the best stocked of any house we have ever rented. And the people at VACASA responded quickly and were friendly and nice to work with!

The house has everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and comfortable, and dog friendly. We loved our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck. A perfect Fall getaway, thank you!

We loved the view, accessibility for our kayaks, the large dining table so that we could all be together, the pool, hot tub, place was clean, and the entire house was so accommodating for our needs. Will return next year!

This is a perfect vacation rental. The location is wonderful with perfect sunset vistas, but a terrific view of the sound all around. You cannot get any closer. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with many extras. While the kitchen is somewhat small, it is extremely well appointed. The house and grounds are well kept. The pool is great, the sound right in front of you, and the ocean nearby. What more could you ask for? I have wanted to stay this house since I saw it years ago and couldn't book it. The last 2 weeks have been magical in every way. I would love to come back here and so should you.

The sunsets every night were amazing. What a treat! This was our first time staying soundfront and we will definitely be back! Loved the easy water access for kayaking and paddle boarding. Nice, uncrowded public beach access and FWD beach access nearby.

We loved the location of this home. It’s a very comfortable and spacious home with a fabulous view of the sound. We also enjoyed the pool quite a bit. This was our 21st year coming to the OBX. We have stayed in many houses, some repeatedly. We would have rebooked for next year but price is more than doubling (almost triple) for this house.

House is located at a great spot! Right on sound & walking distance to a couple of stores. Loved the view! From top floor it seems like you are sitting on water. Simply beautiful. Hung out at the pool all week. No need to go to beach. Believe most would enjoy this house.

Terrific views and a good location . The new bridge being constructed is not a problem. We heard very little, and it did not bother us at all. We were curious about the layout and they did not have a diagram, so here it is. Master on top floor, and half bath on top floor. Master on second floor, queen on 2nd floor with direct access to bathroom. Two single beds on 2nd floor with hall access to bathroom. First floor, bunk beds and hall/rec room access to bathroom. ( these are not attached on bottom floor.) Full bath outside by pool, shower and toilet. We would stay here again. The maintenance crew were friendly, and Hatteras Realty was always pleasant and helpful. The owner was fast and efficient to any questions or problems.
