Description

You'll fall in love with this multi-level home! This home is located in the community of Salvo's Wind Over Waves. It is equipped with incredible amenities throughout both levels and outside. The Seagull's French Fry has a large lot and offers ocean access just a quick walk away, a concrete boat ramp, and a community pier/boardwalk. What are you waiting for? Three bedrooms with TVs, en suite bathrooms, and access to decks on the first level. You'll also find a game room with a foosball table, a TV, and a full-size fridge to store your snacks and goodies. This level also offers access to a covered deck with a private hot tub overlooking the enclosed yard, where a sparkling private pool will be waiting for you, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The pool area has two picnic tables, a gas grill, and a bar area with warm nighttime lighting, perfect for fun poolside meals. Upstairs, you'll find a gorgeous open floor plan. The kitchen is a delight with its stainless steel appliances and black granite countertops. You'll have all the essentials to prepare everything, from full-course meals to quick snacks on the go and sweet desserts. The gorgeous breakfast bar adds five more dining spaces to the adjoining six-person dining table. The main living area is another excellent place to gather with its two comfortable sofas and TV. From here, you'll also have direct access to a deck, which has another gas grill, perfect for barbecues. The bedroom on this level has access to the terrace, a TV, and a spacious en suite bath with two vanities, a tub, and a walk-in shower.

Amazingly convenient to the beach for a sound side property - five minutes flat to the access with a crosswalk to cross 12 directly behind and another five over the dunes. Comfortable furniture and a great layout for a couple families with kids to share.

The beach is so close and the little trail behind the house is so convenient! We loved coming back from a hot day at the beach and cooling off in the pool. Overall the house was perfect for a group trip (plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms!) and everyone could come together in the main area but also have their own space. Really loved it.

Excellent house with private pool, hottub, gameroom, extremely clean, close to the beach and ice cream. Location offered a slower pace but within distance to incredible restaurants, activities, sunrise to sunset. Each room offered their own bathroom, lots of parking, covered, hose access to clean beach items. Beautiful house, thank you.

Well, my family loved the pool and surprisingly the little basketball hoop at poolside was also alot of fun. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking. We felt very safe and enjoyed the local restaurants and even took a sunset cruise (paradise tours) to view dolphins. All in all, a wonderful time with kids and grandkids. Thanks...

Location was perfect! Beach access just across the road and our neighborhood had a pier and small boat launch. Great bike rides through the neighborhood! My grandkids lived in the pool! Salvo beach had beautiful sunsets! What a find!

The French Fry is a well-kept oasis for small groups. The private pool and hot tub were a definite plus. The fenced area felt quiet, even though some of the neighbors were audible on occasion; they weren't offensive. It felt like we were there alone. We visited at the end of May 2024; not much else was open around the area, but that didn't prevent us from enjoying each other's company. We made breakfast and dinner each day, played card games, and floated around the pool. Everyone enjoyed! Very clean and well-presented, the 'Fry will be on our return list.

We have made one-week vacation stays in numerous rental properties on the Outer Banks over the past forty plus years, and after our most recent stay, this home would now certainly rank as one of our favorites. The property is well equipped, is tastefully decorated, and gives every impression that providing useful amenities together with a high level of care and maintenance is important to the owners. The appliances, furniture, electronics, deck furniture, and grill are all relatively new and in excellent condition. The rear of the property where the amply-sized private pool is located does border Highway 12, and some traffic sounds can be overheard, but the fencing and well landscaped yard which is surrounded by beautiful pine trees and other vegetation affords a real sense of privacy and distance from other nearby homes. The pool area is one of the strongest features of this home. While neither the front nor back decks offer ocean or sound views, both locations are within easy walking distance. When given the opportunity we would certainly stay at "Seagull's French Fry" again, and would also recommend it to friends and family.

Comfortable rooms and well-equipped house. No neighboring houses to the south--helps to contribute to a relaxing feeling. Great ice cream shop right across the main road, and a short walk to fishing in the sound. Also, you get the feeling that the owner really cares about maintaining and improving the property.

Whether you want to walk to the beach right quick or catch a gorgeous sunset from the sound, you can do both from this house. Perfect location. 45 mins to Nags head or down to Hatteras. We loved everything about this home. Pristine condition (and was cleaned excellently for our arrival), well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need, up and down stairs fridge, which was perfect for my sister that came for a few days with her diabetic son to keep his supplies & snacks close by without having to walk upstairs, new appliances & nice furniture. Master bath is big enough to live in & perfect! I loved having the 2 sinks in the kitchen & my son was thrilled at the full size basketball goal in the drive. The pool is the best part. Large & laid out perfectly with a cute cabana with nighttime lights & grill area. Our kids loved the tile designs on the pool and steps. The other basketball goal at the pool was used for hours every single day. Tons of outdoor seating space and picnic tables at pool and decks. Super cute landscaped yard and a little trail to the crosswalk to get to the ice cream shop across the road. We walked over there probably 7 or 8 times in our 2 weeks there 😂. There’s even an ice cream/sno cone truck that circles the neighborhood often. Wrap around private road that circles around to the sound that’s perfect for sunset walks or bike rides. I sat on the deck after the hustle settled and listened to the waves crash every night. We loved this home and would definitely rent it again.

Well i have to say this home was everything that was listed /first time in the OBX and not my last / next time around the whe family will be their and hopefully in the same unit it fit perfectly for me and my wife and to teenagers boys the beach is amazing and have to tour the whole entire Island 🏝 / but back to the home amazing home and a quiet stay perfect for our first stay / looking forward to the summer day to do some of the world's class fishing next time around. OBX i will be back 😁😎
