Great location, great beach, but is along walk across the dune. Some things can make a difference. Broken storm door latch, needs new outside water hose and upgrade frying pans. Was a great neighborhood and a nice week at the beach!

Victorian Dollhouse made me feel like Queen Victoria. This house has everything you could ever want or need. So comfortably accommodating! House is for sale and would buy if I were able to.

I have stayed in this house several times in both the winter and in the summer and it never fails my expectations. I love the location and access to the local environment. Very clean and lovely ocean side viewing areas. A Win Win!!!!

The house was spotless when we arrived (though a bit outdated), and the view from the upper deck was tremendous. The kitchen was well-stocked for a week of cooking. Because we came in the off season, we often had our own private beach. We saw dolphins EVERY DAY, innumerable species of seabirds, and even a humpback whale slapping the sea in the far distance! The stargazing from the top deck was spectacular with many sightings of shooting stars. We had such a lovely week. I would highly recommend this stay.

Once we checked in, we had an issue with the hvac and an odd noise coming from it. It was hot on some floors, and cold on the others. Vacasa took care of the problem immediately. We had a great time. House met our expectations.

Comfortable accommodations, very clean, well stocked kitchen, plenty of parking, close to handicapped access beach and a dollar general store for last minute items. Dining table for 8! Loved having sit-down meals with family. Clean fully functional hot tub! Definitely would recommend.

Victorian Dollhouse was great for us! Beds, hot tub was great, 1/4 mile walk to beach! We saw deer run on the dunes in the morning, beach fire at night, great stuff! Jacuzzi tub was nice as well on third floor! There were 2 fridges in the kitchen which was nice for our size group. Beautiful woodwork! There were a few things that needed attention: hot tub chemicals were off from all the storms, light over stove bulbs out, two broken vacuums, broken screen door on porch, doors that wouldnt close/open all the way due to swelling from humidity, however maintenance request submitted and they came same day! The service was excellent! Replaced vacuum, replaced bulbs, fixed doors, pool/spa man replaced all water and refilled! We do think a small cupboard for pantry items would be nice for future guests as kitchen space is limited 😊 thanks again Vacasa!

Yes it's on the beach BUT you have to walk up dunes then down dunes then across dunes to just get to the water. Pack everything you want because I can't see returning to the house for anything once you're on that beach. Cute home, nice size rooms, nice quiet location, must drive to everything, Christmas time meant very few restaurants were open or with limited hours of service.

We absolutely loved our time in Salvo at the Victorian Dollhouse. The house had so many charming features. A few favorites were the sun porch and the screened in porch. We loved the walk along the trail to the beach and enjoyed watching and listening to the beautiful birds in the trees. The hot tub was also a family favorite. The way the house was laid out gave us many options of being together or having many options for time alone or in smaller groups if we wanted that. We had everything we needed. The master bed was also very comfortable. The master suite was its own retreat within the beach getaway retreat. We really hope to come again. Thanks for sharing this spot in paradise with us and for allowing it to be pet friendly. Very special.

The location and lay out of the house was perfect. The view is beautiful. It was a good fit for our group of six. Only suggestions- update the mattresses and the main bedroom tv. We would stay here again in the future!

My family and I loved the property! The rental has 3 floors so it gave us plenty of room to spread out as well. The best was being able to leave the house and walk over the dunes to the beach. As it was March, it was a very quiet neighborhood and not much was open around us, but there is plenty to do there when everything is open.

The walk to the beach was great. It was the perfect size for our family. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Absolutely loves sitting on the decks every evening. Plenty of outdoor seating. The kitchen had every gadget you need for making anything. Very well stocked.

This house has 3 indoor family rooms and 2 outdoor decks with plenty of seating for all. It's a great family gathering spot. It also is right in the middle of all 4 lighthouses and museums.

Away from the craziness of the northern Outer Banks but an easy drive to both the North and South to get to all the things we wanted to do. A gorgeous view from the private master suite and an easy walk to get to the very nice beach. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook. You could even make a cake there! Deck has gates to keep any children or dogs safe. Great feature. Vacasa was very responsive and willing to help with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The ease of staying at this house was amazing; convenient to the beach, and shopping, yet private and very comfortable. Thank you very much! This house is perfect for my husband and me. We only travel with our dogs, so this house is on our `must` list. I like the fact that it is only one story (less stairs). The house is very comfortable, and the combination great room/kitchen enlarges the house and its sense of size. Casa Caribe is a clean modern home that is incredibly furnished and has new modern appliances. It has an excellent layout and is right by the beach with a great pool.
