Fantastic house in a fantastic location, definitely a great find!

House was perfect for what our large family needed. We enjoyed our stay and had fun. Found some pretty sea shells. The pool was refreshing and clean. House was not the cleanest. Some spots have been looked over multiple times. Definitely a nice house but could have improvements. We should have brought pans and some other types of cookware that we found out we were missing through the week. Cookware provided is extremely worn. Ice machine in movie theater puts out some seriously hot exhaust, makes the whole 2nd level 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We never even watched a movie because it was too hot on that level. Several locks on the house do not work including the one out back by the pool and the very top deck. Central air vents are moldy. Outdoor surround sound and speakers not working.

We had a wonderful week of vacation at Allure. The house was very clean and accommodating and we would definitely be back. The pictures do not do the house justice as they can not capture the large size of the house. It fit our group extremely well and we had no problem with finding space for our four families. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to eat dinners at home. There was plenty of space at the dining room table and there was ample seating in the living room areas, which is not always something you find out some vacation homes. A note we had was that the televisions did not fit the spaces as they were too small. It's vacation so it doesn't really matter but if they were larger for the living room and theater room, it could enhance someone's stay. Hatteras Realty was quick to respond to any concerns we had and they provided all the information we needed for our stay. There is some conflicting information in the one manual that is in the home regarding trash collection which I think is from an old management group. Not a big deal but something to note. The rooms and bathrooms were all spacious and very clean. The beds were all comfortable. There is minor wear and tear that you would expect from a vacation home. The walk to the beach is not bad at all. The soft sand over the dunes gave our beach cart trouble but it was a nice walk to the beach regardless. Overall we had a great stay and the house was as described. We would definitely be back and we would have no problems staying with Hatteras Realty.

Very nice property that met our extended families needs! Everything was as described and managing realty company was extremely quick at providing anything extra needed (large stockpot, propane refill for grill - that was subsequently replaced because of rusted out condition, replacing a rotting deck board, and for accepting Amazon and medical supply shipments). Pool was a favorite of our grandchildren with nice step ins and ledges all around. Great rental for large families. Hot tub was aging and not all controls were functional but was well used and enjoyable. Pool deck chairs however need replacement as only a few were useable. Overall would highly this property for a wonderful vacation experience.

Needed cooking pots for pasta or seafood. Had the strainers, but not the pots. Had seafood tools and utensils. With a large group of people, it wasn’t feasible to make those dishes. Tables with glass table tops were disgusting. Other people’s food crumbs and spills on top and underneath glass especially on the kitchen table, and wicker table on the top floor near the blue couch. Blinds in the bedrooms or dark curtains would have been nice to block the morning sun, but not necessary. Elevator was wonderful with aging parents and having 4 floors. Good experience overall.

The house was spacious and clean, the amenities were great, and the accommodations for our entire party were superb. The movie theater was a wonderful surprise and the elevator was very helpful for loading in and out. The views were great and the neighborhood peaceful. A wonderful place, I’d happily recommend it to anyone interested.

This was our second time to rent this house, we loved it 5 years ago, and we loved it again. The pool is great, it’s in the sun all day, which keeps the water warm. The steps from the game room to the pool was a great addition!!! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, mattresses are extremely comfortable, all furniture is in great repair. The media room with separate ice maker is a huge benefit. Supplying shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc is a great perk! Our only complaint is that the kitchen is very ill equipped with pots/pans, serving dishes/bowls, and storage containers. Will definitely consider renting again, we just hope the kitchen will be better stocked.

The house was clean and very beautiful. It had everything we needed and we had quick response when we did have a few issues. The walk to the beach was a lot further than it seemed to be in the pictures. We also brought our own bath towels because each room only got two.

Quiet neighborhood, elevator is very nice for elderly or handicapped people, not far to the beach and nice kitchen with refrigerator and sink on second floor.

This house was beautiful, great location, spacious. Only downfalls- you could tell the cleaning is not thorough each time, but nothing running to DG for Clorox wipes and a dust pan couldn’t fix, hot tub was gross- we found out it was probably a dead frog, totally out of anyone’s control and this is a very large house but hardly any towels so make sure you bring your own hot pads, beach towels and even extra bath towels. Otherwise this was beyond a beautiful property. A 5 min walk to the beach which was huge! You could never have to leave the house if you grab groceries on the way down because it has all other amenities for cooking! The elevator was a huge plus to get luggage and groceries to the 4th floor! We had 12 of us- 6 kids and 6 adults and everyone had more than enough space. We look forward to staying again in the future!

My friends and I had a great time at this house over New Years. The proximity to the beach at the southern end of civilization creates a unique calm environment with great long range views. The house was perfectly clean and well appointed. Every bed was soft and the home had everything any group would need to have a good time. The theater was a noted highlight that is well insulated so others can be outside and in other rooms without being disturbed. The hot tub was great and made for perfect star gazing. Will look to book again in the future.

We had rented a house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina to celebrate my wife's birthday. On the way there, we became aware that it was not going to be available because of a mechanical problem. The staff at Vacasa worked with us tirelessly to find a replacement that would work for us. My wife uses a wheelchair, so it had to be wheelchair accessible. The house that we ended up with was a four story house with 6 bedrooms as compared to the condo unit which we had originally rented. Although the house would have normally rented for at least 3 times what we had paid, it did not cost us any more. We are very greatful to Vacasa for their kindness and for the work they put into making our vacation a success.

Beautiful home..we booked for our annual Friends/Family OBX fishing trip. House was beautiful, spacious. Great location. Only feedback: neither coffee pot had all components to function properly but with creativity...it was accomplished. Booking, signing lease and communication was indeed 5 star!!

We loved our trip staying at Allure. The house is so spacious and accommodating for a large group, we went in off season October with 4 couples and our kids and had plenty of space for everyone. The pool and hot tub were great. Quick walk over the dunes to the beach. And beautiful sunrise/sunset views from the balcony’s. They did not allow early check in which was unfortunate because their check in time is later than most, but that was our only complaint about this property. Would stay again.

Only thing we thought was “odd” was there is no stairs to each level of deck and no stairs on first floor so you either take the elevator or walk up the outside stairs to 2nd level.

We had a wonderful time at Allure. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun week at the beach. The only areas we could see improvement is a clear and marked path to the beach (we had to cut through people's driveways) and one more room with twin beds or bunkbeds (for kids). Besides these minor issues the stay was perfect and we would stay again!

We really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well supplied. The hard wood floors were so easy to take care of.The pool was great for 4 kids under six. Constructive criticism would be that the shower curtains and liners be replaced because of mold and the ground floor elevator room is very musty and moldy. This would not stop us from renting again.

What a beautiful home with almost everything u could ask for. We had an awesome week with great weather, views of both the ocean and the sound,and only a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach. Our only complaint is the wifi was super slow to the point if I owned the home I wouldn't even have it. But overall what a great home with awesome amenities!!!
