Things to Know:
New December 2025, all new furniture and beds; all new appliances; all new light fixtures; new washer and dryer; new floors; all new toilets; new kitchen countertop, backsplash, sink, faucet, paint, & hardware; new pots, pans, & dishware; added two king beds; added a queen over queen bunk bed with twin trundle; new artwork & curtains; 3 new TVs; all new area rugs; basketball hoop; and general maintenance and safety updates.
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, located at the Avon office address: 41156 HWY 12, Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open from May 24 to September 8, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pools is subject to the discretion of the state inspector, management, and/or the HOA. As a result, the availability schedule may change without prior notice.

Nice house, great location. We always choose to stay at Waves or nearby when coming to OBX. Quiet and peaceful. The layout of the house was nice and having 2 King beds was a plus. Parking underneath was perfect for a topless Jeep although we only had one day of rain. We had some hiccups at check in with the door code not working which was a pain after an 11 hour trip and everyone waiting to go inside. Also, seemed like the cleaning crew only hit the visible areas which is concerning bc we found 2 empty water bottles, a few beer tabs, gum wrappers, and other items under the couches and tables, and out on the top deck. Minus one star for cleanliness. Might also be time to resurface or replace deck boards as they are starting to show some wear. Overall we had a great stay and would consider it when returning next year.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I’m glad the location, layout and two king beds worked well and that the covered parking was convenient. I’m sorry about the door code issue after your long drive — we reset and tested the lock system and are monitoring it to prevent future problems. I also apologize the cleaning missed those items; we’ve reviewed expectations with the housekeeping team. We appreciate you letting us know and would welcome you back next year.

The house and location was great. we love Rodanthe/Waves/ Salvo area. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and faces the ocean mostly with two of the oceanfront houses in front of it. you can still see the sunrise from the deck. Kitchen had all the essentials that were needed. l loved parking the topless Jeep underneath the house and the outdoor shower and table was nice as well along with a few older beach chairs to use.
There is a large dune to climb over when going /returning to the beach.
Upon arrival after 11 hours traveling, our door code didnt work. wasnt happy but they had it fixed in about 10 minutes.
Minus one star for the cleanliness. Everything seemed pretty clean but im guessing the cleaning crew doesnt move furniture when vacuuming bc there was trash under the couches and table. multiples beer bottle caps on the deck.
Overall we had a great stay. I would suggest better cleaning, an ice maker fridge, and the deck getting a makeover. maybe more beach equipment.

Nice home, comfortable and clean, lovely views and close-ish to the ocean, if you can handle a bit of a hike. Very peaceful and quiet, and nicely equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.
