WV500 Beach Music

We had a great time. The house is definitely due for some upkeep. Many of the sliding doors are nearly unable to be opened because they are rotting out. The one by the pool several of our group couldn’t open without help. The beds were fine. The kitchen was ok-not real big but functional. The theater room was fun. The sand dunes are very tall so unfortunately you can’t see much of the beach.

Our family had an excellent time at Beach Music 500 and it was our first trip to the Outer Banks, which was so much more peaceful than our typical NC and SC beaches. We were told of the issue in the off season that caused flooding in the home, specifically in the theater room- thus I can understand some of the property damage that we saw and we moderated our expectations accordingly- however, none of that was provided to us as expectations prior to our arrival and should have been. I have a few suggestions that the owner needs to address: 1. There are two external doors that need replacing ASAP. Specifically, the one leading to the pool area- we had to have it serviced multiple times, and still it was impossible for children to open and close and difficult for adults. The damage with that door is significant enough that you can see through the bottom into the house. the second ASAP door I would suggest is on the middle level through the sitting room leading to the back deck. For safety in the event of a fire- there should be a working door leading out of the house on every level. Addressing these two doors first would resolve that concern. 2. There are some small changes that would significantly improve the renter experience and should be inexpensive modifications: A trash can in every bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen sized trash can in the basement/game room. Also, hand towel bar/rings in all of the bathrooms. Finally, mini blinds in the top level master bathroom (the sheers do not provide any privacy in the bathroom and exiting the shower when it is dark). 3. The listing for the property should make clear that the main living and kitchen space is on the top floor of the home and that the pathway to the beach includes a steep drop off on the other side of the dunes as this could prevent some from enjoying the property fully.

We had a great stay! If you are looking for a quiet community this is it. It’s at the end of a short drive and plenty of parking. We seen so a lot wildlife. 3 huge raccoons, a possum, and the morning we left we seen a huge buck walking the dunes! And plenty of birds. If you are a bird watcher the island before the one where the house is, is a wildlife refuge. Birds everywhere! It’s called Pea Island! We also seen 2 light house and did some hiking to where one of the light house use to be. Also the house is right between 2 piers. The kids enjoyed the skate park, pier and the bait store near the house is awesome too. Waves deli, Bros sandwiches, and La Fogota were all delicious! We can’t wait for next year!

My family and I had a wonderful time! This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for all! This is a great house if you want some quality family time at the beach. There is a Food Lion about 25 minutes away, so we went and stocked up. Our family loves to cook, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for us. We didn’t do a lot of activities outside of the house, because the beach, hot tub, theater, and game room were more than enough entertainment for us. The weather was perfect and views from the balcony were spectacular. The beach is only a few steps away, which was perfect. Also, communication with the people at Vacasa and the realtor was awesome. They always responded immediately to any questions I had. Lastly, this home is exactly like the pictures! Absolutely Awesome!

Love location and the view Love the space that you have at the house. This was our second fall at the beach music house, I will truly miss not be able to return back next fall because price went up a lot for one week!!

The house was fantastic, beds were great, views were great. Only bad thing was we could not get comfortable in any of the living room furniture or lack of because it’s really outdoor furniture. I go on vacation to relax and we just couldn’t chill and watch a movie or sit around and chat because we couldn’t enjoy the furniture. The cushions always slid out and fell off. Everything else about the house was great but seriously replace that living room furniture then it would definitely be a 5Star

We made precious memories at Liquid Rush. The views and amenities were as described with the exception of the bridge construction. Driveway could use repair - lawn care was lacking. A Finer View is in a beautiful location of Salvo. The upper deck outside furniture was amazing and provided for a lovely place to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails and the sunset (or incoming storm as the case may be).
