WV634 Pamlico Paradise

We just stayed for a week at Pamlico Paradise. We are a family of 7; 2 adults and 5 kids and 2 dogs. The house was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other. Was very dog friendly. A short 2 minute walk to the beach. Close to campgrounds but there was no noise that came from there. The house was very clean when we got there. Large kitchen table and island; plenty of seating for everyone. Gorgeous deck views for relaxing and watching the sunrise and sunset. There were a few small things - the grill was just a very tiny camping grill, not really suitable for cooking for a large group. There also wasn’t really a great skillet for cooking eggs in the AM so I would bring one if you plan to cook breakfast. And there were no baking pan/sheets in case you plan to do any cooking for dinner. Also one of the rooms did smell of cigarette smoke; it’s possible it was the cornhole set that is kept in the closet. We moved it outside but my daughter that was going to sleep in that room is very sensitive and decided to forgo it and share a room with her sister because the smell lingered the entire week. All very minute things that would not prevent me from renting again! Very happy with the property, the rental company and our trip. Thank you.

Short walk to the beach, house was very clean, Pillows in master bedroom were awesome. We had 8 people staying here and there was plenty of room for everyone, we weren't tripping over each other. The deck off the kitchen is great for viewing sunrise & sunset. Hot tub was very convenient right off the 2nd floor bedrooms. Pool is small but was clean & refreshing. AC works great, outside it was very hot & humid during our stay but the temp. in the house was always very comfortable.

This property is nicely located to within drive distance to anywhere you wanna go in the Outer Banks it’s within a short walk to the beach. It’s got plenty of decks for outside sitting and plenty of room inside the three floors make idea for a big family and I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a place to go.

We enjoyed our stay! The home does need a good deep clean and dusting. Overall the living room and kitchen was very nice with nice furniture and new appliances. Waves deli is delicious and The dough shack has delicious doughnuts!!! We enjoyed the reenactment at the life saving station! If you want on a space on the beach you need to go early , considering the home is between two campgrounds!! The private pool was great to have since the ocean was pretty rough!

We rented this house Thursday to Sunday Checked in, the place was clean, AC worked great beds were comfy. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. The deck was awesome had chairs to sit and just hang out.

We had two families with 4 teens staying here. Everyone had their own space with plenty of room for us to gather for meals. The pool and hot tub were a must have and great on the super windy days where the sand was pelting you at the beach. Loved that there was a beverage fridge in the lower level to accommodate those pool days. The house had ample kitchen supplies and plenty of space for all of us to gather. We had fun playing the variety of games in the closet and enjoyed the decks for late night beverages and laughs. We were a little worried about the campground being right behind the house but didn’t hear any noise at all. The only improvement would be a better grill. The “park” style grill really wasn’t big enough to cook on for all 8 of us. Overall I would recommend this house and location on the OBX for a great beach vacation.

We had a great family vacation and were happy to bring along our golden retriever! We are a family of 6 with mom and dad, three children and grandma. There was plenty of room in the house and the walk to the beach was not too bad. We loved that dogs are allowed at that beach. The only issue we had was hurricanes Franklin and Idalia that made the ocean waters very choppy that week, and we lost all of Thursday to Idalia, but there were plenty of good DVDs to watch and games to play. There are complaints about cleanliness with carpeting, but you get to bring your dog!! It's worth the trade off. We're definitely talking about a return trip to this house. Thanks!

The house has one of the best sunset/sunrise views of all the houses we’ve rented over 25+ years. It has five ample bedrooms, a roomy 3rd floor kitchen/dining/living area.

The cottage has a nice layout and from the top deck the Sunrise and Sunsets were gorgeous. Location was perfect for our needs also. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our vacation here. The pup friendly property was perfect..off the main drive and a nicely situated home..one level, lovely, relaxing atmosphere made our stay fantastic!! Close to beaches, art galleries, Hatteras Lighthouse, fresh seafood..loved it all!! The large back deck was perfect for us to enjoy the sunsets with our pet. Best choice!!! We enjoyed the house and area. The house is laid out well and had what we needed. The house needs some TLC door hinges fixed and re aligned. But otherwise we loved the house location and views very good views. We would and plan to possibly stay again next year.
