WV85 Northern Comfort

We enjoyed our week at Nothern Comfort. It fit all the needs of a family of 6. Hopefully the owners or Realty will check out the dishwasher, the racks need to be replaced.

We really enjoyed Nother Comfort. The home met our needs. We enjoyed all the decks. Especially the crows nest-seeing sunset and sunrise was great. One issue-the racks in the dishwasher need to be replaced. They are rusted and have broken prongs.

It was a great family house, it was clean, WiFi was fine which is great for most families. Easy beach access was one of the best part about the house was it wasn’t a challenge to get to the beach. The amenities where a little out dated but all in all if we were looking for another house to stay in next year. We would consider again. The house was amazing if you are looking for a laid back vacation home. It’s not far from Avon or the main island. So with it being Pet friendly I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to just sit back and relax

First time to the area and had a great time! Very peaceful; perfect if you’re NOT looking for the spring break crazy party crowd. Live music was nice. Gorgeous beach with easy access from the home. 😃

The house was perfect, a typical Hatteras home great for vacation. It is spacious and can accommodate a family or a group comfortably. In addition to all the amenities and fully equipped house, has a roof deck with both ocean and sound views, two outdoors showers. The house is a bit dated and shows wear, but that's standard and part of the charm with these OBX rental homes, noting to complain about. On weeks that it's priced right, the place is top value.

Comfy couches inside. Large kitchen. Hot tub was great after kiteboarding in April. Nice outdoor spaces. We watched the eclipse from the crows nest. Decor a little dated, but everything was clean and well kept.

The property was great for a family vacation. Close to the beach and a great view from the top deck. The host was very accommodating and responded promptly to any requests and concerns. Would definitely stay there again.

This home is your quintessential old beach cottage. It was very clean, located in a quiet cul-de-sac and across the street from the beach access. Some of the wood on the front deck was splintered and needs to be fixed/replaced, but that was our only complaint. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay again.

My husband and I were looking for a time away from the political turmoil and from COVID concerns. We were looking for a comfortable cozy place close to the ocean with all the amenities so we wouldn’t have to look elsewhere for entertainment or comfort. We found it in Northern Comfort. We love to cook and really enjoyed the huge kitchen. It was a bit lacking in good sturdy utensils so I’d recommend bringing your own, and they were missing a dish drainer and hot mits but otherwise, it was fantastic. The hot tub was large and hot and in a great location - private, with a good view. The living room was especially cozy with comfortable furniture, great light (throughout the house), a gas fireplace, and a good entertainment center. The mattresses were comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. It was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed on the OBX.
