The view here is stunning. Nothing but a dune to block your view of the ocean, the dolphins lazily cruising by. Gorgeous.
The house is in a small cul de sac. We were there for New Year's Eve and it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The stars were out of this world too.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed.
The game room in the basement was great and we used it a lot - pool, foosball and an arcade game.
The kitchen had everything we needed.
The hosts were responsive when we needed help.

Everything about this house is perfect! View is spectacular -lots of dolphins to watch off the upper deck. Hot tub was great. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space for everyone. Has a great area for the dogs off the pool deck. We feel so lucky to have stayed in this house and know it would be wonderful for multigenerational family groups. THANKS for having us !

We thought the rise and shine was very nice. When it says beside a campground, they mean RIGHT beside a campground, but we didn't have any issue with that at all. They had a great assortment of kitchen stuff, pots, pans, grater, etc. Really everything you would need. The kitchen sink is really big and deep but you have trouble getting the water out because the lip on the drain is higher than the sink. I assume so guest won't clog the sink, which is understandable. Warning if you take dogs, they have lots of sand spurs (which is no fault of theirs) In the pool yard there is a small grassy area but it was full of spurs that would get in our dogs feet. Lucky for us, we had brought a metal pet gate that we used to block off that area. There's a sandy area under the deck that our dogs used with no problem. All in all, we thought it was a lovely house and had a wonderful time!

This house was absolutely perfect and what we needed, when looking for a place to serve our 14 person crew! We especially loved the fact that each bedroom has its own attached bathroom, plus the extra half bathroom on the top floor! Another fun thing we found upon arriving was that the whole place felt bigger and more spacious than the photos showed, which usually the opposite is true, so that was nice! We had lower expectations for the pool, as it’s not heated, but were pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel too cold most days (especially on the warmer 70-75° days) and the teenagers/kids did not mind it at all! Be prepared for the walk onto the beach itself, as there are little spiky burrs along the path! I would definitely recommend leaving your sandals on until you get over the dune to avoid stepping on them (obviously, this is no fault of Vacasa or the house… just the environment to be aware of!). Our trip was in early May, and the beach was not crowded at all, which we prefer! We would 100% recommend this house and keep it in mind for future stays at the OBX!

Our stay was lovely. We were a family of 9 with 2 dogs and there was plenty of space. The views from the beach were awesome and it was very private even though there is a campground next door. There were a few negative reviews after we booked our vacation last year which had us concerned but we were extremely happy with the Vacasa staff and their reassurance that the house would be clean and presentable for our trip. Sure enough, the house was clean, well kept, and clearly cared for. We had a few minor issues during our stay and the Vacasa team was very prompt in getting back to us and handling the issues. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a week of eating at "home." The bathrooms were clean. The linens were fresh, the furniture was comfortable, and the layout was awesome (although be prepared for lots of steps if you plan to come in and out of the home frequently - the kitchen, primary suite and living room are on the 3rd floor). We would highly recommend this house for any family looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Waves!

We had a great long weekend stay with friends and family in this spacious home. Visiting this area in the off season is very quiet and remote. We had the beach to ourself most mornings for sunrise and enjoyed happy hour around the pool table and hot tub. There was plenty of seating and entertainment room on the top floor and the large kitchen made group dinners very easy. We’ll definitely be back again.

I loved the location of this house, it was on the ocean. The layout was great for a larger group. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Access was easy with the keyless entry. The sunrises were amazing from our balcony. If you want a beautiful place to stay, this is it.

Just returned from a wonderful vacation on the Outer Banks. This house is fantastic! The view is unbelievable and the beach is perfect. The house is large with plenty of room for the 12 of us, plus a baby and a dog! House was clean and quiet even though there is a campground next door. We thought there was a Keurig for coffee, but there wasn't, but other than that the kitchen is well equipped. The sink did drain slowly, but one of us was able to fix it and it worked fine for the rest of our stay. Only complaint - no shade on the pool deck. It does look like you are putting up a pavilion, but can you get an umbrella in the meantime? Other than that, I highly recommend this house.

The house is large with plenty of room for the 12 of us, plus a baby and a dog! House was clean and quiet even though there is a campground next door. We thought there was a Keurig for coffee, but there wasn't, but other than that the kitchen is well equipped. The sink did drain slowly, but one of us was able to fix it and it worked fine for the rest of our stay. Only complaint - no shade on the pool deck. It does look like you are putting up a pavilion, but can you get an umbrella in the meantime? Other than that, I highly recommend this house.

Upon arrival we were so impressed by the how massive and beautiful the house is. We loved all the light colors, the windows and just how bright all the rooms are. The main living area is so wonderful for a large family to gather. We ate meals together, played games and just enjoyed all the space and the view….there are no words. We sat on the deck each morning and watched the sun rise!! We had 11 of us that stayed at the house. There is so much space to spread out. A few cons to the house, the kitchen sink did not drain well and the hot tub was more of a lukewarm tub. We did call and someone came out but it only worked that day and the next day it was lukewarm again. We called again but no one came before we left. The weather was a bit cool so the hot tub would have been so nice to have. So if you are renting this house for the hot tub you might want to look elsewhere BUT if you want lots of space, an AMAZING view with access to the beach….this is your house!!! We will come back here and stay!!!!

This home is beautiful. It had everything our group of seven needed. It was roomy, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view was mesmerizing. We loved that it wasn’t in a highly trafficked area as we found further north. The only disadvantage to me, as an older person, were all the stairs. Other than that it was perfect!

The sea view from the main room is amazing, the beach access is great, the house is very well equipped with pool table, baby foot, arcade, jacuzzi (though the kitchen is not that well equipped in term of kitchenware). The toaster was not working but Vacasa bring a new one very quickly.

Beautiful house, beautiful weather, we had a wonderful relaxing time from sunrise to sunset. Love the easy beach access, and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves each night. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
