Everything was great! Loved the house. Met all of our needs. The dogs liked all the exercise from going up and down all the steps. Only issue we had was the hot tub kept overheating even after someone came to service it.

House neede some love for sure. Not one to being a snob but. Pros for sure was deck, location, hot tub, pool and beds were nice.Cons one bedroom had to of been used for dogs, smelled like urine.no pool light and most outside bulbs were burnt out. Few outlets not working outside.also. if taken food, cans or box stuff no storage.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beach house--absolutely flawless in every way! From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking ocean views and soothing sound of waves set the tone for a truly relaxing getaway. The interior was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, blending comfort and beachy charm with every thoughtful amenity one could want. We loved stepping out to the deck with our morning coffee and knowing the beach was just steps away for sunset strolls--every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. Overall, this slice of coastal paradise exceeded our expectations and left us already planning our next visit!

Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking. WiFi was very spotty which frustrated the kids but I think that’s typical for the area. I’d stay here again for sure!

This home had plenty of room for our family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and our daily trips to the beach. The neighborhood is oceanside so beach access was very convenient. We also loved the ice-cream truck that came through daily.

Comfortable, spacious living area, nice bedrooms, pool area is clean, close proximity to a not very crowded beach. Would recommend for a relaxing family vacation.

Perfect beach house. Short walk to the beach. Shopping nearby. Had breakfast at Mirro’s - was good. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans. Plenty of room for 10 people (2 families with college kids.) Pool was refreshing and the outdoor shower was spot on after coming off the beach. Foot shower as well outside of the pool entry. Carport area was nice for storing our beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Nice backyard for cornhole, throwing the baseball and cooking on the grill. AC worked great. Will definitely look to stay here again!

This house is a short walk to the beach, but know you have to climb over the dune - there are no steps or ramps like other beaches. It shouldn’t be difficult for most, my 75 year old mother had a tough time. The photos represent the house well - plenty of space. Our family had a great stay - our first time in Waves and we all enjoyed it! Be sure to get to the Waves Market and Deli and Waterman’s Grill!

Wonderful vacation spot! The house is a short walk to the beach (5 minutes) and has peek-a-boo views of the water from the kitchen and the top deck.

This house is great if you’re looking for more of a relaxed beach stay and not so close to all the busyness of some Outerbanks beaches. The beach was extremely beautiful and large for the small number of houses that had access to it. It was a decent hike up and down the dune to get there but very well worth it! Still plenty of restaurants, ice cream and other shops close by in Avon and Rodanthe. The pool and gas grill were great to have for the week! A few of the beds were extremely hard mattresses but overall the house was great and we had a wonderful stay!! ❤️

Couple of things that need attention 1. Bed in bedroom on top floor is the worst bed I have ever tried to sleep in. It sinks in the middle. 2. DVD player will not play blue ray disks. Not much use since almost all good new DVDs are blue ray. 3. Front step railing needs attention as we got several slinters from the weathered wood. Generally the house was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

This house is lovely. A perfect place for large families. Our son got married on the beach this week and we had 2 houses of family and friends. We did most dinners at this house because the layout is open and the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. We all agreed that this house was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in over the years in OBX. The pool and hot tub are great for when you are done with the sand. And the beach isn’t far from the house, a short walk. I highly recommend this home. The owner also called to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for sharing your home.

We enjoyed our stay at Sun N Waves! It was our first visit to the Outer Banks, and Waves was the perfect place for us. The house was exactly as described and very welcoming. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We felt right at home on the first night. The owner of the home called us during our stay just to make sure we didn’t have any questions or concerns. It was a very nice gesture. Having 3 small children, the pool was a godsend! The pool and hot tub were even cleaned during our stay. We were just a short walk to the beautiful beach as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need to cook our meals. We enjoyed our first extended family vacation and made a lot of memories. We will definitely be back!

Great beach house! Very clean and ready for our two families with four young kids. Owner called within first hour of moving in to make sure everything was satisfactory. No other home we have rented has an owner called. Very impressive. Pool and hot tub was very clean and a person came out midweek to clean and check chemicals. Not far from the beach at all. Had a great week overall. Thank you so much!
