Great vacation days await you from the 3,784-square-foot oceanside Ireland Parish! Located across from the pedestrian ocean access, Ireland Parish opens with good parking, a fish station, a park grill, a private concrete pool, furnished pool surround, a private hot tub, and a tiki bar with a half-fridge. The first level opens with a furnished game room with a full-size pool table, a TV, a sleeper sofa, a wet bar, a microwave, and deck access to the pool. A separate home theater room with a 106-inch movie screen and seating is also located on this level. The first-level bathroom has a full bath and shower. Level two has a washer/dryer nook. The first bedroom is an oceanside suite. The second bedroom has a TV, deck access, and a full bath with a step-in shower. The third bedroom has a main bath with a shower. The hall bath has a tub/shower. The west-facing fourth bedroom has two twins, one with a trundle, and deck access. The West deck has a rope swing, a hammock, comfortable furniture, and super sunsets. The third level great room has tall cathedral ceilings, and a half bath. The living area has stylish resort-style furniture, a TV, and a stereo. Ireland Parish has large furnished east and west sundecks that catch every sunrise and sunset. The huge kitchen has a breakfast bar, an island with a wet-bar, and a computer station, and opens to the oceanfront dining area. A furnished tower getaway has a TV, sundecks, and postcard views of the sound, the ocean, and Waves village. Ireland Parish may be the best way to spend a vacation in Waves village, North Hatteras Island. This home is formally known as Sea-Ways Garrett.

Things to Know :
The private pool will open seasonally from 04/01/2026 and close 10/10/2026. Dates are subject to change.
This home is equipped with an exterior luggage lift to the second and third floors.
The pool water is heated via solar power, therefore the water temperature may vary as it is dependent on weather conditions and ambient air temperature. Solar pool heat does not need to be requested in advance.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Perfect place for our family spring vacation! Beautiful views of the ocean, and great amenities. The home was very comfortable and was a perfect layout floor to floor. We loved the location and proximity to the beach as well as so many other scenic spots and a good distance away from the hustle and bustle. commercial

My friends and I had a lovely stay here to celebrate New Year's Eve! This house is perfect for a large group - plenty of space and exceptional amenities to keep things interesting. We loved watching movies and playing video games in the theater room. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the board games in the house. The views from the house are amazing - you can see both sunrises and sunsets from the many different decks! The house is also very close to the beach, but the beach access is up a steep hill. The house was very clean and seemed well maintained. We loved the location - Waves doesn't seem as busy as some nearby towns.
There were some minors issues during our stay (given the incorrect door code, hot tub was broken), but the management company quickly resolved these. I got the impression that the property management company juggles many properties in the area, so they seemed to mix up our place with others. Not a big deal! My friends and I enjoyed our stay and were sad to go.

This house was a perfect choice for our family. We loved the well stocked kitchen items, all we needed was there. Between the outdoor pool/hot tub and the pool table game room and theater room was such a wow for us, especially with Hurricane Erin taken away 2 water days. We are already excited to book again for next year.

The house was beautiful, the views were great, the luggage elevator was amazing (even though it was slow, lol), the couch looked very comfortable but it wasn't but if the weather wouldn't of been so rainy we wouldn't of noticed that. Overall, a great place for vacationing with family

We loved this house !! So many things you don't normally get at the beach. Extremely quiet neighborhood and this house has so much privacy. The sunset views are amazing ! So much to do , we took advantage of it all . The walks across the street to the beach , the hot tub and pool , the pool table and we all loved the theater room . Thanks for sharing your home with us !

Everything about this house worked well for my group. Short walk to the beach on sunny days, pool table and theater room on rainy days. The outdoor pool area with tiki bar was a favorite. Would definitely stay here again

5 stars! This home was not perfection but definitely perfect for our family of 7! The spacious open living room and kitchen/ dining space were wonderful and accommodating for all our home cooked family meals. The New England/ Irish touches made our Maine family feel immediately at home. The views and beach access (must climb a small dune) right across the street were ideal for a family focused, beach fun week. The pool and hot tub area were amazing. We had great weather so by the end of our stay the solar heated pool was the perfect temperature to swim in while still being refreshing. The theater room and game room were terrific added bonuses. The mini fridges in the pool area, in the game room and the extra full fridge downstairs were so helpful for all the extra water, gatorades and soda used throughout the week. All of our kids ranging from ages 12-21 slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed their bedroom spaces. The master bedroom was spacious and cozy. The hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) in all the showers were also an added surprise. Our extended family rented a home behind us and the set up, design and comfortability was horribly subpar compared to Ireland Parish. We would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it for families looking for the “perfect for them” home for an amazing family focused super relaxing OBX beach vacation.

Nice Vacation Spot

We loved the house, movie room and amenities. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and there was plenty of room for our family of 8. Be mindful if you have children or elderly people that the beach access in front of the home is a very high dune. Overall we very much enjoyed the home.

This property was clean and neat It was very spacious with lots of room for our group of 7. The theater, pool, and hot tub were all clean and functional. The main room and kitchen were large, clean, neat, and very functional for our group. There were no hand towels in either of the two half-baths; we had to get paper towels for those rooms. The floor just inside the pool area is loose (possibly rotting).

There were great board games to play, a ping pong table to put on top of the pool table, and of course the hot tub and heated pool. Beautiful views from the fourth floor.
