Description Description
Looking for a magical vacation? This home has everything you could possibly dream of for your next getaway. Under new ownership, it is packed with sophisticated decor and paired with high-end technology. Surely, this is not your average beach cottage! You are greeted on the first level with a well-equipped game room with a large TV and pool table. A large home theater with a 120-inch screen and brand new seating is adjacent to the game room. With so many amenities, you may actually wish for a rainy day! Walk out to the first level deck and take the stairs leading to the private pool and hot tub. You will find the perfect place for entertaining family and friends. The large pool also features an outdoor sound system so you can listen to all your favorite tunes poolside so don't forget to bring your iPod! A family BBQ by the pool will be a breeze on the gas grill. An outdoor shower/changing area is convenient for quick cleanup. The first of six bedrooms is located on the first floor with two sets of bunk beds and its own private bath. On the second floor, you will find four more main bedrooms, all with king-size beds, private full baths, and flatscreen HDTVs with Blu-ray players. Each of the second-level bedrooms has its own access to the second-level deck featuring breathtaking views of the ocean. Just imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach right outside your door. Located on the top floor is a huge main suite with a king-size bed and its own oceanfront private deck access. Step outside to watch for shooting stars or listen to some relaxing music from the top deck area while you watch the waves roll into the shoreline. Enjoy your morning coffee, while the sun rises over the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean from the wall of windows in the spacious great room on the main level floor. A commercial ice maker and commercial six-burner gas grill with a griddle, two dishwashers, and a wine/beverage cooler is just a start. You will find a huge gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and granite countertops that will provide you with everything you could dream of for preparing those special family meals together. The dining room has plenty of seating for the entire family. The great room features a stone fireplace topped with a large flatscreen HDTV and Blu-ray player, great for watching all your favorite shows and movies!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bockhaven Shores. We had 9 adults and 4 children (2 under 2), and the home was perfect for us. The location could not have been any better, the ocean views from all of the balconies were amazing, and the quick walk over the dune to the beach was so ideal with little ones. There were a few things that were not working during our stay, but the management company was very quick to address them. The pool was full of sand when we got there (Hurricane Erin had just passed through) so we totally understood, but the management company came quickly to take care of it. Would absolutely recommend Bockhaven Shores to anyone looking for the perfect location on the beach at OBX!

The location and beach access was perfect for our families age 5 months to 89 years, all enjoyed the beach. The kitchen and living room area great for large families. Enjoyed the media room, pool and hot tub. Nice front yard for kids to play

Overall, we had a great stay at the house. The kitchen was amazing and we loved having 2 dishwashers. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also loved having 2 washers and dryers! The elevator was very handy for moving in and out. It also was great for my mom who has difficulties with all the steps. We enjoyed the outdoor deck furniture on both the top and middle levels of the house.

Great house!

This may be the 3rd or 4th time back at this place. Always one of our favorite houses to stay in for multiple families with kids. Spacious. Perfect pool. Nice deck.

Bockhaven Shores did not disappoint! Such a beautiful house. The inside was clean and spacious with spectacular views. Everything you needed was there- an amazing kitchen and living room, bedrooms/bathrooms were roomy with great views, a game room, movie room, hot tube, pool, as well as being only steps away from the beach. The kids were occupied all day long allowing the adults to relax and enjoy. Wonderful memories were made and everyone is looking forward to going back.

Best place we've ever stayed in. Only thing I would tweek is that I would love to have been able to heat the pool some. We're planning on staying again next year, and I would like to see ideas on that.
