This is our 3rd time renting “Serenity” in Frisco, NC. We absolutely LOVE the house, the location, the locked storage area for all of our fishing gear, the dock & all the fun things that are at the house (bicycles, kayaks, etc…).

This is the same home we stayed in 20 years ago. Love the house and love the fishing off the dock. It's nice to get away and enjoy the serenity of the area.

This is our second year staying here. It's just so perfect! We enjoy the kayaks/paddleboards and bikes available. If you do nothing but stay home and enjoy the sound, its totally worth it. We look forward to coming back year after year here.

We had a lovely week at Serenity. The location was great. Having access to the sound was one of the best parts for my children being that they love to fish. The house was clean and well furnished as far as kitchen ware. We had a few minor issues and had to reach out to Vacasa to which they promptly sent someone to respond to our concerns. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Frisco area.

This house has plenty of room to relax. You can watch beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Back deck is excellent for sitting after beach. It's in the shade with a cool breeze..so is the bench on the dock if you want to fish.

This house is spacious and well equipped, with beautiful views, but had no working AC on the second floor during a heat wave, so we had to relocate.

I loved all the extras like canoes, bikes, etc for the kids. We had a great time on the sound and highly recommend this place! Loved the windows and the view as well. The cool breeze at night coming in through the windows was amazing!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Serenity very much. It felt like the perfect house for the seven of us. We used the kayaks from the house every evening to paddle out for the sunset. My brother rented two fishing kayaks, too, which we were able to tie to the dock. They went out in those and caught numerous fish in the sound. The younger kids enjoyed paddling the kayaks in the canals off the sound because the wind was gentler and we saw lots of sea birds. We prefer staying on the sound side because of the sunsets and the calm water. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings and roasting marshmallows on the grill behind the house. It was a perfect summer week in a very cozy home. All the bathrooms were a big bonus! There were plenty of extra life vests, paddles, and boogie boards in the storage area under the house. Fantastic place- highly recommend! Thank you!

We couldnt have asked for a more beautiful home to spend the holidays in. Location was amazing. Quiet neighborhood with streets made for bike riding. Private dock in the backyard was amazing. Couldnt get enough of the kayaking. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again. Perfect getaway!!

We loved our stay. The location is great! Some appliances could use updating and not all the interior doors actually shut correctly. These things did not deter from our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The yard and neighborhood were great for our dog, and the house had everything we expected and more. The kayaks included one double and two singles, which were perfect for our family. The water was shallow and easy for our kids to try kayaking and paddleboarding with the boards that were there. The rental company was very responsive too!

The house was super clean! Great floor plan with plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked and I loved the large oven/stove. The deck and dock was newly replaced and well built. We really enjoyed the kayaks and access to beach items and paddle boards. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Serenity. I was a little nervous since there were no reviews about this property, but we were incredibly pleased all around. Although the furniture and rugs have seen some wear (the house allows pets which is why we stayed there since we have a small dog) the house was very clean when we arrived, the views of the sound are incredible, there are 3 kayaks available for use which we loved having, we fished off the dock, went swimming, and rented a small skiff from Hatteras Parasail that was just perfect for riding around and fishing. The four bedrooms were perfect for our family of five and small dog. The living room and sunroom gave us plenty of room to relax and spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed. A few recommendations - bring toilet paper and soap, we had one roll of TP per bathroom when we arrived and a very small soap for each bathroom. Also, bug spray is critical especially in the evening. The only thing we think could improve at the house was the bushes/trees were very overgrown and cover the pretty views from the master bedroom and views from the sunroom, a little trim on those bushes would be great. We highly recommend and would be back!
